Old Man Logan issue 2, 616’s Spider-Man current future

So yeah he died in the great holocaust when all of the heroes died, but his third daughter shows up named Tonya, and she’s Black! :wow: Tonya also hooked up with Future Hawkeye and had a Spider Daughter lol! So, what does this mean, is Spidey gonna wind up with Lily Hollister? I mean, it is his third child so he could still wind up with MJ to have May (or, Mary like the last issue of Sensational Spider-Man called her in a possible future pre OMD) and Ben (Ben is in both that Sensational issue and Spider-Girl) and MJ might bite it Earth X style so he can have another kid with someone else. Or he could just have 3 kids with Lily, heck maybe even another African American! Um, yeah way to further twist that screwdriver in the gut of us Spidey/MJ fans Marvel lol! Can’t wait to see what happens next in Old Man Logan, HE’S OOOOOOOOOLD! :looney:

Well, the story is 50 years in the future so the timing is a little sticky. I’m guessing Spidey’s third daughter is about 45, so she was born 5 years after Secret Invasion or so, AKA current Marvel time(for us that’s like 10+ years of comics lol). Hawkeye can tap her when she’s 20-30 and it can fit I suppose.

i was thinking about getting that, the price so low. How’d you find it so fast? Do you just scroll thru the covers? Or is there an index/search engine?

I knew that it took place during the 80s. It’s part of the Dark Phoenix Saga and it’s even in the Dark Phoenix TPB. But yeah if I didn’t know I would of scanned through the covers, and the issues themselves if I had to.

There’s a way to run searches but you have to be really broad like issue numbers and years because that’s how the PDF files are named. So no you can’t run a search for Hellfire Club or anything like that. I think your better off just going through the covers/issues.

I’m sure we’re all loathe to consider it, but is continuity really that important? Is a story any better just because it’s tenuously connected to an improbably large sequence of other stories that all happened to the same people in the same world?

I think it’s kind of like not seeing the forest for the trees when readers reject certain stories for not being real, for not really happening. The reality is, none of them happened, so they’re all equally valid in my eyes.

so far im pretty pleased with this series, I think it has potential to be marvels version of The Dark Knight Returns…with an emphasis on the word potential. it also gives me a healthy appreciation for Hawkeye and all his bad-assednes

Old man Logan is great… definitely one of the better recent wolverine stories.
