Does anyone have the properties of Yun’s Command Throw? I am guessing that LK goes the furthest. but that’s all I know. Does the normal command Throw beat normal throws? What are the properties of the EX Command Throw?
I think the properties on all of his command throws lk, mk, and hk are mostly the same, but the Ex version has a ton of range (1.3 if I’m not mistaken).

I do know that LK/MK/HK version does not have grab invincibility. It does not beat normal throws.
EX Command Throw has normal invincibility and grab invincibility.
I got shoto cr mp’d out of EX cmd grab so Idunno about it having attack invincibility.
As far as lk/mk/hk versions go, I don’t think there’s any difference they all have the same reach.
Yeah I’m pretty sure EX command grab doesn’t have hit invincibility.

Dunno where to put this so I guess I’ll put it here. It seems Yun is at least +10 on hit if you do MK dive kick aimed at the ankles. Tested by linking cr.HK.
According to the SRK wiki (which you guys should read first…), regular command grab is 7f startup, while EX is 5f.

The ultra was counter hit so it did 26 more dmg, but damn that’s cool.
Now I wonder if there is a way to get it so you won’t have to do Lunge punch.
Well I’ve theorized that you can probably get 7-10 palms before having to dash punch. By the time you’re that far in though you barely have anymore time left and the scaling would already be at 10% (the last few palms only did 10 damage lol). I’m thinking instead of doing that 3rd palm on the end I’d probably get more damage from 2 lunges or a lunge then upkick.
For karapalms what attack are you karaing from? I’m using st. Mk
I can only get 3 karas in before a lunge.
yeah far standing mk. In the usual juggle you can only get 3 (maybe 4) as seen near the end of the combo. But after putting them up very high, ie ultra to shoulder you get the first few palms very meaty and the pushback happens when it connects so you recover faster and can cancel your pushback with another kara palm. You can almost get it at the speed you can do straight palms under GJ while whiffing which is pretty fast. I just couldn’t get the timing too well.
Gonna try that Gen’ei Jin combo in training mode, but isn’t there a much easier combo to use?
Also what are some useful combos for his Ultras?
Something cool i saw Sako do against a dudley (in the corner) :
cr. lp xx st. lp xx st. mp xx ex upkicks xx ex upkicks (you can do two ex upkicks in the corner … not sure if it’s char. specific or not)
also cl st. mk (launcher) xx st.hp (the one where yun extends his hand) xx ex upkicks
Finally got my hands on AE and done some testing on the upkicks lunge combo i mentioned near the beginning of the year.
The combo is cr.lk, cr.lp, st. far lp, mp xx dragon kicks (light)
You’ll notice that the first kick whiffs but the second hits. From there you can either do mp lunge for 186-188 damage (Don’t know why its variable) or you can do ultra for measureless ultra combo though this is heavily scaled. You may also tack on an ex-shoulder charge after the ultra but not a normal special.
This is a 364 damage metreless Ultra combo, ex-shoulder charge afterwards will make it 406 damage for 1 metre.
It requires the opponent to be standing and so far I have only gotten this combo to work on; Viper, Rose and Balrog.
However with balrog you need to add in 1 more jab or short for him to be spaced correctly so that the first hit of the dragon kicks whiffs and naturally because of this the combo will do less damage.
It was so long ago since i played in arcade against that player but, im sure its possible to get the half whiffed upkicks to work on other characters using different combos or timings.
