If you consider saying “yes you can use your own coupon when I pay what I was already planning on paying for this movie” an actual favor that requires careful consideration, a temporary separation, anger, and calling people dumbasses, I’d hate to have to ask you to actually do something for me.

- Split the cost of the ticket
- Buy some of the snacks
- Owe me a favor at a later date
If they don’t want to do any of the above and bail out, that’s fine too.
If I had the ticket and the $10, it’s a different story, because then I could make the offer to get another in for free instead of someone wanting to get in free at my expense. No sir, not happening.

Compare that to your little deal there. That would be about 6 bucks, or so, for two tickets. Two! That is a deal, especially in this province. Holy shit, this thread has generated a lot of debate. Ok, I’ll give you guys some more info. My little brother is 19, two years younger than me. He also has a better job than me and makes more. But like I said money isn’t the issue.
Long and behold he went to the movies yesterday with his girlfriend and used the coupon. She ended up paying for the movie but he got her Subway at the end. I’m not sure such a deal would occur for me, but that really doesn’t concern me.
Like I said, we cover each other for things here and there, but I don’t think this was one of those things. Who knows though, maybe next time it’ll be different. I know if I had the free ticket I wouldn’t even give it a second thought. I would offer to split the ticket right there.
