Hey guys, been a long time since ive posted, but im (again) looking for tips and advice. I start with a lot of Nova, but i get to my Cap stuff a few minutes in. Thanks!!!
Good video, but one thing I noticed is that you’re DHCing to the Nova beam super, which I think is actually less damage than the Nova Force ball super. It might do more damage with red health, but I haven’t checked.
I would also suggest just running Cap on point with that team. Based on your video aside from the raw tag combo Nova doesn’t really benefit from having Cap second, whereas Cap gets a lot of use out of Nova assist for combo extension and setting up unblockables. Nova also doesn’t have good DHCs to Cap without neutering his damage output, whereas Cap benefits vice versa.
LOL we have the same team! Well my team is Cap, Hawkeye, Nova. . . . .because nova on anchor in lvl 3 x-factor is ridiculous lol. Good video btw, and you should catch my combo video I will be putting out in a couple of days for more combos with cap and a cool nova exchange combo.

love the team i actually run the same team but with cap on point, i used to run nova as point but it didnt seem to work as well. ur combos are good and theres 1 thing i love about this team and thats the fact that the combos are easy and high damage so only advice i can give is just keep playing with the team and u will get better the more u play.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess ill re-explore Cap on point. Otherwise yeah, I definitely plan on sticking with this as my main team, they are just too fun to play!

I worked a lil bit with the last side switch setup with Slant Shot + Charging star, but for whatever reason I haven’t used it a ton…maybe it’s time to play with it again. I’ve been working on trying to find ways to land double overheads (using the lowest possible double jump height) too.
Again very sexy stuff, I like the Nova overhead bustin’ setup too, I do something similar with IronMan unibeam on a tech roll to people. Maybe I’ll record a short video of that, and an air throw setup I use sometimes.

Just a couple of things (not to be picky) that I thought were missing:
- Throw combos
- Happy Birthday Combos
- X-Factor combos

Ok, so I’ve pretty much gotten most of those intermediate combos down…now to try them online.

Out of curiosity which one of these combos do the most damage or builds the most meter? I would love to know since I can’t really do a ton of these combos haha. That way I know which one to practice.
I recently took part in Shadowloo Showdown qualifiers (UK) coming third so hopefully the vids will be uploaded soon (as the stream archives are locked). From the feedback, it seems like I did put on a good show.
