How noticeable are the decreased xp requirements and the increased xp? Is it not very noticeable at all, like say, you’ll ding 60 an hour sooner than you would before? Or is it awesomely noticeable, like say, you’ll ding every level an hour sooner than you would before (i.e., getting lvl 60 30-40 hours sooner).

I personally love the grind, but never loved it enough to play alts seriously. I always just had the single lvl 70 and that was it. An occasional alt or two that I wouldn’t take past the 20s. But if the xp is jacked up big time, I might start playing again and just go 1-60 with every class.

They dropped the exp to gain by about 10% or so it seems. At lv 59 I only needed about 175k instead of 200k, every bit helps I guess. I have no idea about the quest exp increase though since I was in Outlands before the patch hit.

Damn, the patch sounds great now for leveling.

Anyway… if anyone is around Kil’Jaeden look up Noobcoil(warlock) or Zalazane(disc priest).

Yah, I ran up on this guy several times, I HATE HIM. That shit is not cool 4 Shamans doing lightning attacks is pretty much an instant death. He’s 1x4 shotted me every encounter

One time I was playing WoW, doing SSC, and my pizza came to the door. Since we were in the middle of a boss fight, leaving was not an option.

I was confused. What could I do? I can’t keep the pizza man waiting out there because he’ll just leave and I won’t obtain my scrumptious cheese pizza. A plan was necessary. Not just any plan, but a Plan. With a capital P, to show its importance. Shut up.

I needed something that would guarantee not only success, but could be carried out flawlessly. I looked to my characters right and saw a mage.

This made me thirsty. I now needed to not only pay the pizza man while playing WoW, but also get a drink. My poor throat needs lubricant. Sweet, succulent lubricant. Otherwise known as Watermelon Juice. It’s almost as delicious as dog.

While reminiscing on the wonders of Watermelon juice, the person to the left of me died. I knew that this had just gotten tense, and leaving was most certainly not an option.

I moved about 16 paces to the left and continued to cast. All of a sudden I heard a faint ding-dong approximately 10 feet below me. The pizza man had just rung the door-bell a second time.

I was tense. Not knowing a plan to set in motion and feeling rushed, I began to sweat profusely. A horrid smell was arousing in my room from the sweat. It smelled like a rhinoceros that was in heat. In the middle of July too. It was bad.

All of a sudden, a horrible pain overcame my left arm. I knew what it was.

My carpal tunnel was kicking in again.

All of this was happening so fast that I began crying. Now that I’m thinking about this, I’m happy that my Ventrilo was set on “Push-to-talk.” Hearing someone cry is not good motivation in a raid, just in case you’ve never heard it.

Another ding-dong sound. Now my body was covered in sweat, I smelled like cat-food mixed with a 5-day old taco from a college cafeteria, my left arm was numb, and my brain slowly stopped working.

Just then, a moment of clarity overcame me. I knew what had to be done.

I hit pyroblast, knowing that it would take 6 seconds for it to cast. With a blood-curdling scream that came straight from the Indians in the old Western flicks, I kicked open my door and leapt down the stairs. Immediate regret overcame me. I had cleared about 5 stairs when it was clear to me that I wouldn’t go all the way down the staircase. Approximately 2 seconds later, I was doing a mid-air Superman pose and the other 13 stairs came up to my face to say “Hi.”

When I finally rolled to a stop, I was covered in bruises, the right lens of my glasses was on the ground (miraculously not broken), and certain parts of my body were bleeding. I threw open the door and was face-to-face with a beautiful pizza girl, and for a second I felt very out of place. However, this was no time to hesitate.

With a motion that would have made Bruce Lee proud, I withdrew a $10 bill and slapped it into the girl’s free hand while simultaneously snatching the pizza from her other hand. I yelled in a very high-pitched tone, almost like a cat’s meow, “KEEP THE CHANGE!” I then slammed the door in her face before she could fully process how I looked, how I gave her the money, how I grabbed the pizzas, and how I squeaked the word “Keep.”

I darted up the stairs as fast as a bullet whilst screeching like a bat and sat down in the chair fast enough to notice that the boss was at 1%. I then noticed that it was only me and the main tank alive. With a victory punch to the sky, I yelled on vent “AYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!” and did a PoM pyro followed by a fire blast, ice lance, and a fireball. The boss died.

I felt like a champion. A true champion. I was so happy with myself. I even got a peice of gear from the boss! I was thrilled!

As I reached to my left for my Watermelon juice, I realized I had made a horrible mistake. In the excitement of the last minute, I had forgotten to grab my Watermelon juice.

I began crying. Nothing was worth it without my Watermelon juice. I logged off immediately and deleted my mage.

My day was ruined.

My friend said he was getting about 7k xp per quest turn in instead of 4k at level 42…he also dinged to 44 in one hour.

I’m surprised no one has tried to tier this game. Anybody want to try to tier the different classes for pvp and pve?

I think pvp is actually harder to qualify who’s top dog as it depends which type of pvp and in what respect. The easiest aspect of pvp though, to try and tier that is, is healing, in that respect: Druids -> Holy Paladins -> Resto Shammie -> Holy Priest. That’s not to say holy priests are trash, it’s just in terms of overall usefulness i guess. A resto druid healer is annoying to damn near impossible to take down or interrupt healing completely. Whereas a paladin there’s ways to make them bubble, but even if you do,t hey’re still getting heals off, whether it’s in a BG or in an arena. A resto shammie is all about the utility, and the holy priest, well, mass dispel and Prayer of mending are pretty crazy, but in comparison to what the other classes bring, well, again, they’re not terrible, but they’re certainly not top dog.

As for as damage dealers in pvp, that reward might go to SL/SL locks still. Hunters got some nice little mechanics to toy with now, and SL/SL has been nerfed, but i think the next coming weeks will show just how much so, but i don’t really see warlocks being toppled.

PvE wise, if you’re going for just flat out dps: Warlocks (i think the spec is 40/0/21? i could be wrong, i just know some locks completely tear the roof off on dps in a lot of guilds WWS parses) -> Combat sword/maces rogues -> Arcane/Fire Mages -> Hunters -> DPS warriors / Enh Shammies.

I dunno about Elem shammies, simply because i haven’t seen many in the guilds i’ve been in. Some completely murder everyone on meters because of skill and overall understanding of the mechanics versus everyone else in the guild. But that too is hard to gauge, at least for me, since sometimes we’d have good locks but no elem shammies to compare, or vice versa.

Mage - This fight is for the ones who say “SHAMAN NEED BUFFS” HAHAHA!! because mage is EZ SELECT MODE.

STEP 1: Lay down your main friend totem! The one I spoke of is grounding totem! This highly effect totem is used to vacum spells that your oponent sends to your face!

STEP 2: PURGE PURGE PURGE! Take his powers and make him waste his MANA!

STEP 3: Pray that you receive the excellence of windfury! You will be so sweet and set! When you get 10,000 DMG!

STEP 4: USE EARTHSHOCK CONSERVATIVLEY (like your bush!!) Because when you do that it will be very difficult for them to destory you when you are weaked at the end of the fight. DO NOT BLOW YOUR MANA FOR DMG! HAMMER IS FOR DMG!!! ES IS FOR GETTING OUT OF MEAN SITUATION

Warlock - This fight is for those who say OHHHHH NOOO NOT WARLOCK!!! They are very hard fighters because they use the power of main fire and the Satan!!!

STEP 1: Again lay down the grounding totem!! It will steal his shadowbolts! WASTE HIS MANA!

STEP 2: Purge his devil horse.

STEP 3: Again! Pray that you receive the excellence of windfury! You will be so sweet and set! When you get 10,000 DMG!

DRUID: This fight is for those that say “OH NO WHY IS ANIMALS ON MY FACE?!”

STEP 1: This fight will be very slow and it will be very diffcult. Use WF and whittle him down like a stick

STEP 2: USE Earthshock to hurt him while healing.

STEP 3: PURGE THE REJUV

STEP 4: WHACK THAT BEAR LIKE YOU HAVENT A CARE!!!

Warrior: This is easy fight because warriors have so many abilities that dont hurt shaman very much. The best way to kill is to use as many spells as possible since they bypass his BIG armor

STEP 1: Shoot him with power!

STEP 2: NO SPELL INTERUPTS SO JUST KILL HIM WITH YOUR MANA!! BUT BE CAREFULL WHEN YOU GO BELOW 20% EXECUCUTE IS MEAN!!! Run and heal yourself

STEP 3: KILL IT

HUNTER: This is one fight worth remebering because hunters are common! it seems everyone is elf hunter

STEP 1: USE earthbind totem to slow that man and his beast to a crawl. Use frostshock if he gets too far, or for quick slowing. Try and keep his beast seperated from him so his beast does not turn your body into a delicious treat for consumption.

STEP 2: YES YOU HEARD ME. WINDFURRY!

STEP 3: Do now slow down to heal, this is a bad idea. The only time you should heal is if you can do it super quick. It is like if you just sat there licking your blood but have arrows shoot in your eyes causing more blood. you will use your mana to get rid of the blood till you have no more mana and the arrows cover your entire body in a coat of pain.

PALADIN: He will hearth alot so watch out for his bubble.

STEP 1: To stop his heath interup him or just keep hitting him. This is where quick weapons like two knives are valuable. Just keep tapping him with knives and it will defect his escape

STEP 2: Incase he decides to try his luck, he will take a long time to die and its best you manage your mana wiseley. If you keeping shocking earth he will kill you because you will be out of mana and paladin uses power of the immortal god so he can stay alive/awake for hours.

STEP 3: If you get him down low and he still has enough mana to heal, stun that sun of the gun, and do all the dmg power you can. windfurry, earthshock, nature swift!, and stormstrike all in UNISON. make him say “I am going to win” and then bring him the dead screen. He will think he is under the lag.

ROGUE: You will not be able to see this character. The rogue can hide from your eyes, like water or transparent glue.

STEP 1: This character should probably be played with a nintendo wifiii because it would be so fun to shake the wand like a person on very exciting drugs. People will think you are crazy but you will be doing MASSIVE DAMAGE.

STEP 2: Much like Paladin, you must trick the rogue to think you are about to die and your powers will combine for the power of planet.

EARTH!
FIRE!
WIND!
ICE!
SHAMAN!
GOOOOO DAMAGE!

STEP 3: The rogue will not attack you as frequently if you are not in an area with many quests like STV.

PRIEST: This is a fight for people who are not afraid to anger the main god.

Step 1: Priest are a healing class, which makes them vurile foes in one on one, but you need not worry about that in group pvp.

STEP 2: If they turn dark, you have made them angry and your brain may start to smell like burning. Run quickly away. This situation is what spectral wolf talent is made for.

STEP 3: If you see a golden water fountain occur, you make breathe sigh of releif because your opponent is a child.

2.3 sounds cool, but with no account, oh well. No more WoW. I need to find an MMO that’s as awesome as WoW was back in the level 60 days…but an MMO that isn’t WoW.
