Oh, and lame…Blizzard decides to remove almost all the stuff where your multi-attacks won’t break CC/traps/etc. I was hoping they would actually keep that…sucks when I’m just farming and I have to take on like 3/4 mobs and the one I trapped ends up getting out cuz of Multi-Shot…ah, oh well.
And you can cancel the trap animation, just press your bind for the trap and move as soon as you do it
Well , when i use to play, i would always jump-lay trap, kinda like kiting. I am not sure if the animation is canceled on other player screens, but it does for mine.
Picked up like 180 resilience today. I never really PVPed on my shaman other than getting weapons because I play him purely for PVE, but I ran around and grabbed the blue pvp set, picked up a purple cloak from Magisters Terrace, and a random ring I had from Old Hillsbrad in my bank and I’m sitting around 180-190 resilience. The set is nice for when I’m out in the world farming, less worry about random people killing me as easily.
That said, Magister’s was pretty fun today. We did the normal version to get keyed for the heroic (I like that better than getting honored for the key, makes more sense to me for the key quests to be level 70 quests that require a run through the instance than just “lol honored”).
I noticed though that most of the bosses seemed to be clones of other bosses. The first boss was meh, he ate gems like the last boss of Steamvaults. Kill the gems when he starts to eat em, free win.
Second boss was mini-Curator.
Third was Moroes with tits (and extra arms). Dropping the vanish, of course. 4 random adds + boss.
Kael was funny the first couple times because people couldn’t realize that “BIG GLOWY ORBS WHEN KAEL MAKES YOU FLY = BAD”. Dropped him pretty easily after everyone stopped being retarded. Sadly I didn’t get to do heroic because I had to leave for work, but I plan on hitting it up this weekend.
Also, I’m kind of happy the badge vendors aren’t just sitting outside ready to sell us BT loot. It’s a serverwide effort to win back parts of the island, and I hope there are events where parts are lost again to force people to keep doing dailies there to keep it under control. Also I didn’t have enough badges stocked up so now I can get in Kara/ZA/heroics to stock up before it becomes available.
Ok, so wait, hunters are crying about not being able to do damage in arena? Just look at 2v2s. The trolls you are talking about are the people who roll new classes all the time complaining about the class mechanics.
Warlocks on the other hand, that whole class has turned into lolcloth tank which is hella boring, and Blizzard needs to just take resilience out so we can have 15 second matches.
Most hunters bitch because they don’t know how to play their class. They autoshot AFKed to 70 and then when they get in to an arena and have to hit more than two buttons they flip out and cry about how their class sucks, their CC is horrible and breaks instantly (seriously we had a scrub hunter who would try to ice trap people he’d already dropped that DOT sting on and bitch when it broke…), they do no damage, they can’t get away from people without cooldowns (LEARN TO WINGCLIP), etc.
Basically the class is pretty good, if not very good, but the players are, for the most part, subpar, but excel at whining.
Shaman, on the other hand, have been fucked since TBC came out. We lost insta-gib and really other than elemental have had no real options. If elemental is to be our PVP spec then so be it, but I’m going to play enhancement thank you very much. I’m glad my spec’s 41 point got fixed to not be super horrible, but I feel like both ele and resto need some help with theirs (lol 5hp totem as a 41 point talent, and a buff that’s instantly dispelled for the whole stack. GG).

Yeah I like the new additions except for the AV changes (although the q times are vastly better…horde doesn’t win ANYTHING on my server now) and the fact that you can link talents/abilities in trade chat now. Shit was getting spammed all day yesterday with bullshit and I couldn’t ever find people to actually do work for me.
Because of being able to turn in marks for honor…I got TWO pieces of gear yesterday…truly badass.
I don’t know, I’m still having trouble with my stuff. Seriously, this is bull crap.

They gave us the same bullshit about deleting your WTF, cache and Interface folders, but nope, still nothing. Damn it, Blizzard.
