Paladin makes no fucking sense as a class. Mine is still sitting at 67 as I havent played in months and probably wont for awhile. You will have an easier time fighting 4-6 enemies then you will 1-2. It is insane
That and you HAVE TO holy spec when you hit 70 unless you plan on doing nothing.
Seems like the WoW players on shoryuken are all really experienced. Got some sage advice the other night from one of the forum goers.
I saw a strat online that suggests always starting two characters at the same time. The first toon with two gathering skills playing him regularly, the other toon (likely to be your main) play only every 10 days or so (max rested experience). By the time you get to 70 with the first…you have a shit ton of gold to give to ur second character…who, despite having not invested a considerable amount of time into, should be at least a pretty decent level.
Looked pretty neat. I’m not going to farm gold hardcore with any of my characters but it did make me get my warrior out of the closet last night and play for a bit. It made me realize he needed some serious WORK too.
Time I’ll be investing? It’s hard to say. I want to get to 70 and start up or join an arena team etc etc. As for each day, I usually can put in a couple hours or more depending on my homework load. I’ve been playing more intensely now since I can’t stand the Westfall/Redridge combo and want to move forward asap.
Incorrect sir, yo go holy while doing Karazhan until you get all your prot gear and then once you become uncrittable and uncrushable you go prot and MT SSC, TK, Hyjal, and BT
Man. I hate 2.3. Warriors and rogues are just completely unfuckwithable for me. Warlocks have become free HKs for them. Anyone play a warlock and have any tips for those two? I literally have no idea what to do.
Every single option I have is beaten out by something they can do. IE: I can’t drain tank them anymore with 2.3, since drain life is affected by MS and rogue poisons. Fearing them away is out of the question with Cloak of Shadows and Deathwish. All I can figure out to do is death coil and hope I can stay at that perfect range against a warrior where they can’t hit me with a hamstring or charge, but it’s almost impossible to get and stay in that range. It’s impossible with a rogue who can just sprint.
Blizzard never balanced the game for every class to have a fighting chance at killing another.
Your best bet is to have your arena partner(s) handle the rogue and you try and focus on something else, if you find yourself 1v1 with it, pray he fucks up :P.
besides you play a warlock, you shouldn’t be qq’ing about anything, they are like the Ken of WoW.
Come on dude. You know you have a pet, right? I mean…it can’t be that hard unless you’re going up against S2 glads or something. Warlocks are not a free HK anymore, just keep practicing.
oh my bad. I’ll look for you tonight…I should have the mats to make u some armor and maybe even a good weapon today…(my next weapon is a priority though)
To be decent with any class takes little to no work.
Wow has a very short learning curve, and an equally short proficiency curve.
The nature of the classes, rock - paper - scissors - and the gear dependency makes personal skill a small factor in the outcome of battles, 1v1 or more.
