Thanks! You wouldn’t happen to have a picture of the Skeleton one right? The one with the eagle in the front.

edit: when I say skeleton I mean the actual event Skeleton, not the girl with a helmet with the drawing of a skeleton on it.

I’ve actually got no idea who that is.

Sexy helmet tho.

i think its either latvia or slovakia whose goalie has a ned flanders helmet lol

ryan miller is great his goaltending impressed me, but the defense also did a good job. all of our superstar forwards were having a problem with the D at times. but comparing this to USA vs russia is just silly, you guys are not major underdogs at all. parise, drury, suter, bobby ryan, kane. without touching upon a few others, the 2010 roster already vastly trumps the 1980 team.

about martin brodeur, he is getting to be too old hes going on 38. im hoping they put in luongo against germany and see how he’s playing. if he can play to his .92 average for the olympics then that would be a good idea to use him instead of brodeur for the rest of the games.

edit

yeah its budaj lol

I’m choked that we played that hockey game like stunned cunts. I mean seriously they gave 3 back-to-back power plays over lazy play and careless mistakes. Crosby swings at the puck wildly and gets high sticking and then another member pretty much jumps and tackles the guy. I mean wtf Canada why are you playing so stupidly. Then we get that embarassment of 3 guys running into each other like a bunch of stooges. We totally deserved that loss for being complete idiots in that match. I hope the coach chews them out a new one so that they play with some goddamn dignity in the next game.

Yesterday was straight up disappointment from Canadian athletes. The 1100m women’s speed skating was so close to gold but she ran out of steam at the end. Then Women’s Curling made a fubar move at end 3 giving China a 3 point lead when we could have easily taken that match. We’re not out yet but it’s still stupid.

canucks in a nutshell

LMAO! Yeah pretty much, truth is Canada got bodied due to careless mistakes. No excuses really, the truth is though I understand why the US is rubbing it in. I heard yesterday that Canadians went into a bar that the American’s were in and started singing the Canadian national anthem. That’s beyond being a douchebag…

We need a facepalm smilie but I think :bluu: will have to do.

holy shit hahah…i like those canucks swagger.

3 ontario born players
goddamit

you guys take full blame for that

Was this before or after the game?

In Canada, the plural of “moose” is “meece.” Also, the re-plural of “meece” is “meeces.”

So if you ever see a herd of herds, now you’ll know what to call them!

So you are telling me a 6 man offense voids the need for defense

no
corey perry is just a dumbfuck duck

I’m surprise we keep up with the Chinese, given the fact that in the United States our athletes play their sports by choice. China freaking breeds factories of athletes, chosen from birth :nono:

Yeah I think it was the night before. Karma is a b*tch I guess.

Speaking of Winter games, I think for anybody that wants to take up downhill skiing, you should watch this first:

The fact that you can hear him scream makes it that much better:rofl:

An economist has designed a model for predicting Olympic medal counts that is reportedly very accurate and does not actually involve any direct analysis or consideration of sports or athletics.

Also, on average, winning a bronze medal will make you happier than winning a silver one.

Neither of these seem particularly shocking to me but I thought they were neat anyway. :shy:
