I don’t care what anyone says, the Ice Dancing (free dance) was awesome. The Canadians took gold beating out the Americans, who are apparently friends with the other pair. They even have the same coach, russian of course…

Canadian upper middle class families who primarily are in the stands are bullshit trust me. they’re the worst breed of soccer mom families you cannot imagine. they’re hardball people who put a bumper sticker on their lexus’ that they have givin to the foodbank to try and trick themselves and others that they’re not hardball assholes. whenever i delivered pizza to yuppie neighbourhoods i would get the worst tip. they’d always look at me like im just one paycheque away from living on the street, which is kindof true for most people not living in million dollars homes, and therefor would get a very conservative tip because for them its tipping somebody whose barely not a street person.
all the blue collar or average people are either protesting the games or are facepalming at home.
Good news is the minority immigrants can’t really be blamed this time.
It seems most of these cats are of the typical Caucasian Soccer mom/Dad breed. :wonder:
I am glad that the world see’s Canada for what it truly is. I never understood why we got reputation for being friendly. Maybe it’s because the nice ones go down to the states?
