That’s if I get a PS4. Right now I really have no intention of buying a new console at all. I really love Marvel characters so it would be a shame to not be able to use it for MvC3. Either way, at the rate things are progressing I think I have plenty of time to make up my mind.

Smoke sides were very popular. I wonder who bought them all for the last TE model. You hardly see them here and they have been sold out for ages. Almost impossible to find.
All the more reason to have them for the TE2. I know they exist from the LVT3 teaser videos, so I really hope they pop up in the color selection whenever customization options come around.
Those two buttons could be the zones of the touch pad on the DS4. I notice playing most games that use it use half of the touchpad for one thing and the other half for the other.
A lot of DS4 games use the corners as well, for 4 buttons.

So if the announcement is this week I’d imagine it will be at PAX Prime on Friday or Saturday…hopefully the approvals they’ve been waiting for are permission to release or something. If it was distribution rights for the rest of the world they were waiting on I’d imagine we’ll have to wait another month so that madcatz can manufacture the things.
Nope, the buttons are for LS/DP/RS selection and locking Start/Select.
That persona stick is sick, I’d buy that in a heartbeat if that releases soon.
Hopefully if it does come out tho, it’ll ship BEFORE the game. lol
I’d rather get the stick first and wait till the game comes out, than get the game and wait for the stick to ship and be delivered.

I’m excited to get my hands on one of these things but I do like to think I have realistic expectations. If the approvals they were waiting for were simply official release dates then we’re okay. However that doesn’t entirely make sense to me because usually the details are hammered out when distribution rights are acquired. I’m hoping I’m wrong and Madcatz simply did things awkwardly with Capcom or the approvals are purely internal (in which case: FFS Madcatz, why you tease us so?!).

Should I mod this stick?
If you want to mod it, you can mod it. Mods aren’t totally necessary; probably the only “necessary” mod is a dual mod, but idk how that’ll work on these new sticks. Lots of people play at tournaments and do just fine with their sticks using stock parts right out of their boxes. Stuff like joysticks and buttons are usually just down to personal preference. Art, as you probably guessed, is for aesthetics and nothing more.
