Should I mod this stick?

If you want to mod it, you can mod it. Mods aren’t totally necessary; probably the only “necessary” mod is a dual mod, but idk how that’ll work on these new sticks. Lots of people play at tournaments and do just fine with their sticks using stock parts right out of their boxes. Stuff like joysticks and buttons are usually just down to personal preference. Art, as you probably guessed, is for aesthetics and nothing more.

Is dual modding easy to do?

Depends on the circuit boards you use. Not a complete list but it does go from easiest to hardest

a Cerberus install on a Xbox 360 TE-S is the easiest.
Chimp install takes some knowledge of basic electrical wiring.
Two Random controller PCBs gutted from game pads and wired to a DPDT switch
And PS4 and Xbox One Pad Hacking for dual mods (not considering the Crossbone PCB) is VERY HARD and not for beginners.

After doing some research I think I’m going to skip on putting in LED buttons. I’m pretty sure I’m more than capable of doing it but I don’t much like the idea of possibly ruining a $240 item.
I will definitely be getting some custom artwork done. Too much street fighter and not enough Iron Man.

From what I have been following, on Markman’s twitter, is that there is no release date for the p4U2 stick yet, but here is hoping around the launch of the game here in NA.

i got a question for @MarkMan i didn’t see asked here. Ps4 and xbox one (with add on) supports normal 3.5 mm headphone jack for voice chat and game audio thru the controller. I want to know if the new stick support this

Not sure if that’s what you are asking about, but there are no headphone sockets in the stick.

Haha thats what I did all this money and I have enough and now i’m gonna have to blow another 100 just to get the damn stick within reasonable amount of time. Ugh
