No mention of that. The stream showed a short video about the TE keyboards, they discussed that briefly, they showed some coupon codes for the madcatz online store (the only one I remember is $30 off the arcade pro fightstick: paxfight), they did some reminiscing/joking, they mentioned that there will be a hype match at TGS and that madcatz will be streaming the whole thing. Then they ended the segment with the announcement that they will be trying to get the USFIV TE2 out to the rest of the world in early October. The announcement was very much in the tone “oh and by the way” so there wasn’t any discussion beyond that.
If they’re available at retail like gamestop and or bestbuy in “early” october that’s slightly better. I mean, better than waiting for a shipment off their site.
I’ll wait for d3vs review to see how it is (I stopped preordering and taking things on faith a long time ago). If it’s good and works well on PC I’ll pick up the PS3/4 edition and track down a PS3 version of MvC3. It looks great and that hand space.I never have any time for games in October anyway, so the release window is not a big deal for me.
I have the KI TE2 and love it, apparently the newer ones are improved so I already know a TE2 is what I want for PS4/3.
I was tempted to get that hori pro v4 cause it’s coming September 30th and it’s only $150 but I hear it’s lightweight and it’s not as easy to customize. I like my fightsticks big and heavy if you know what I mean.
$230 + about $80 shipping. There seems to be a glitch on nin-nin where it says shipping is free to North America but when you hit checkout it adds the cost afterwards.
I mean this 3.5mm headphone jack that is on the ps4 controller the headset plugs in. normal headphones, and the ones with mics are supported by ps4. xbox one has the ability with an add on but you say there is no headphone jack on the stick so it is what it is. Don’t think i’m gonna buy a new stick until they support it
I’m guessing they figure people will just use bluetooth headsets if they are inclined. Allows them to cut a corner and save cost because the solution is easy on the consumer’s part.
A friend of mine asked me for a link to the product specs on this (he’s in the market for a fightstick). I figured the preorder page would be up with the product specs because of Mark’s post…still not up.
I don’t think they’re in any hurry. That’s why they have markman to feed people anticipation to keep customers on their line. It will be there soon enough
I’m well aware of MarkMans purpose. I have no intention of preordering (still waiting on a review or two and the official specs page). I was just pointing out that it’s still not up.
I got my USF4 TE2 for the ps3/ps4 today. Its a thing of beauty. The buttons are dead silent compared to everyone else’s sticks i’ve seen / heard. Very little noise comes out of the stick and the controls seem super responsive. One thing I noticed is that the button order on PC USF4 seemed to be M L H instead of L M H. I’m thinking that might have been a goof up on some existing setup but was an easy fix.
Very happy with it so far, very comfortable to use too.
Edit:
The stick does give clicks off but they’re mostly confirming for the user and even then still quiet enough that I think anyone you’re up against will have no idea.
