My white Sanwa OBSFS are all good, the Dark Hai ones with 2-3 of my Mad Catz sticks were brittle junk and some were broken while in my TE2, I don’t really mind because I don’t use those buttons.
I think its more so that we got more first time modders who the first stick they decide to customize is the TE2.
Breaking snap ins is very much a newbie issue
I wonder if there’ll be a Wii U TE2 with Pokemon artwork for Pokken’s release. It’d be nice, but I’m pretty doubtful since Wii U has all of 3 stick-compatible fighting games, not counting Virtual Console stuff. Plus, we’re still waiting on that eventual Xbox 360/Xbox One compatible TE2
They already had one Wii U Tekken Tag TE, can’t get hold of it for shit now though, so could well be a Wii U one.
Regarding the button snapping issue, I’d changed buttons on 2 sticks previously, and having heard that it was an issue with the TE2 I was extra careful taking the buttons out, but still managed to snap 1 tab on 3 buttons and both tabs on another -_-
Wasn’t too much of an issue, because I was putting new buttons in to replace them, but was still a bit lame.
Welp I managed to strip one of the screw holes in the bezel when I was putting in some new buttons… seems like I break something every time I try and fix something else xD Not a big deal as I found a workaround but is there any way I could go about getting a new bezel? They aren’t available in the UK store. Was hoping to get a different colour one at some point for my artwork. @MarkMan
Tekken Tag 2 Wii U Edition TE, as well as most other Wii/Wii U periphs (Tatsunoko stick, HORI/PDP pads, HORI Wii Fighting Stick) were WiiMote Accessory and plugged into the remote like a nunchuk. Only exception I can think of are gamecube controllers through Smash adaptors. A Wii U TE2 will likely follow suit
Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. They plug in to the Wii Remote, but they’re still wireless. I’m saying there should finally be a Wii U stick that plugs in to the Wii U. Like the GameCube Wii U adapter.
Unless Nintendo directly commissions them to make arcade peripherals for Pokken, which even then it’s kinda up in the air since the arcade cabinets for Pokken didn’t even have joysticks (they had some weird ass home console controllers)
