thanks! I found this thread just to ask about any more info on when the Xrd sticks will ship! Any info before they actually ship would be helpful I might need to switch my shipping from ground to 2 day.

MarkMan, will there be more Ultra SFIV TE2 coming after Capcom Cup? I gambled and cancelled my order as soon as I heard about the special promo that is going to be offered at Capcom Cup. I’m now regretting it.
We will have some going live at 12 noon this Saturday (PST), if you want to get an order in. We’ll probably get more USF4 ones way after that (after Christmas).
Got mine in today.
The stick is sexy as hell. The shell looks great and it feels heavier than the TE1. It’s about the same footprint, so there’s a good amount of room on the stick. The bottom of it is foam, which I wasn’t expecting. Seems like it’ll be rock solid while I flub 632146s all day.
There’s a sweet button on the front that pops the whole stick open, like you’re popping the hood on a car. There’s room inside for the USB cable and the bag of tools, plus a few other circular places, looks like they hold extra buttons maybe.
Only thing I don’t like is that the top plastic feels like it has more give to it than the TE does, so I’m a bit worried about longivity. There’s also a bit of shimmer on the left hand side, like there’s an airgap in there; it’s that kind of multicolored gasoline shimmer. No big problem though.
Can’t wait to get into some Xrd tonight and start really putting it through its paces.
Does the top plexi bend a lot or it floats above the artwork like it’s not sitting flush on top? How about around the buttons seeing how the buttons don’t hold the plexi down, it doesn’t lift up at all or anything?
