That was essentially me on Friday calling up Gamestops.
Me: I’ve heard some places are selling them early, and I know the store sold it to me earlier when places broke street date for Marvel vs Capcom 3, can I come pick up my pre-order?
Them: Nope, not allowed to break street date, we’ll have it on the fifteenth.
And then all my rage.
Just tracked my copy on ups.com.
It says it arrived in Miami, and it departed somewhere. Wth? Why can they give me my copy today instead of Monday :mad:.
Anybody having this problem?
PS: I live in Miami.
Mine is apparently still in Louisville, Kentucky, which does BULL for me considering I’m in Maryland.
Going to head down to Long Beach today, can anyone PM me a list of stores that have it if you could be so kind?

Been trying to call every store I can google in this general area as well and nothing. Might just try to fill my brains with football until Monday I guess.
FML, just called UPS. They told me even though I payed $25 extra dollars for the package to be received friday, they won’t give it to me until Monday because Saturday is not a business day. So yeah.

They told me it wasn’t possible. Really mad right now. They told me to e-mail Capcom Store to see if they can specify to UPS for Saturday Shipping. I am waiting for their reply and hopefully they will be as helpful as the Cross Counter shop was with me.
Lesson learned I guess. Happy that I am at least getting one day before release, but $25 isn’t worth it IMO.

So are you guys just finding small electronic stores that don’t care about breaking the street date or do some of you guys have connections with bigger retailers like Gamestop? I work at Best Buy but no way in hell would we be able to get it early if we want to keep our jobs. I’m in Richmond by the way.
