Has anyone in Northern California had any luck picking up the game early?
I’m just going to wait until Tuesday to get mine. AFAIK there aren’t any special shops that sell it early in Indiana (or my area of the state at least). Bah

I got the game already purchased on preorder, but Imma ask the manager at my EB if I can have it early maybe a day or two before release. I’m good friends with him and most of the people there.

No luck yesterday trying again today in St Pete I wish I still worked at one of the retail stores that has it sitting in their warehouse collecting dust till Tuesday or atleast was still friends with someone there.
Its looking like Canadians are out of luck - I spent a good chunk of yesterday going to every store I knew that sold games and no luck. Closest I got was a store that had a UMvC3 UPC + Pricetag on their last few copies of Vanilla. From what I gathered talking to lots of owners / employees at various stores most of them aren’t even getting their shipments until Sunday at the earliest (Ottawa, Ontario).
Oh well. Back to trying to find a damn arcade stick (also extremely difficult in Canada…).
O_o, that’s really strange. For those of you that are getting the game shipped by UPS using Next Day Air, that does and should count for Saturdays. UPS does deliver during Saturdays if you pay extra. I would know because my UMvC3 copy is currently out for delivery right as I type this. Hopefully your guys statuses has updated and it was just a mistake.
Back to hoping to find it some place in SoCal, preferably not as far out as Long Beach, if anyone knows any places still selling the PS3 version.
Still looking for a place in Nevada that sells it.
