It’s five days until official release. Their shipments are enroute. And these places barring NL have a long history of selling games SLIGHTLY earlier than release day. Capcom distributors aren’t stupid.
Why would capcom even care about games sellin early
isnt that the retailer’s problem/worry?
I suppose it has something to do with marketing but seriously when was the last time Capcom made a rational decision.
Yo guys, I can confirm that Walmarts do have the game at their locations. They have them in the back in a box that is labeled not to be opened until 11/15. Tried picking myself up a copy but they started checking in to the actual release date and called another store to verify. If you know peeps that work there have them hook it up for you.

Capcom ships the games to those retail stores so that they have them on launch date rather than having it shipped late & then find that the stores don’t have them yet. Next thing the games gets delayed in shipping. I doubt Capcom wants to make that mistake again.
Looks like we won’t be seeing advanced copies readily available until Friday, I’m glad I don’t work on Friday.
I hope I don’t have to drive far again like I did with MvC3 and SSF4.

I just called up JB hifi and EBgames this afternoon and the conversation was this:

“Hi, I wanted to ask about Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, can you tell me when it’s on sale?”
“Hmm I can tell you what the price is right now…”
“Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3? Is it available to buy?”
"…Marvel vs Capcom 3 is already out"
“No I mean the NEW Marvel vs Capcom 3…”
“You’re thinking of Street Fighter vs Tekken…”
“It’s called Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3…”
"Gimme a sec…"

"You Still there? The only Marvel game coming out is something on uDraw"
“That’s not what I’m after I… you know what, never mind.”
Then I called EB Games and got this:
“Hi, I wanted to know when Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is available to buy”
“Lemme check our computer… Okay it’s not showing up, so it’s probably left the warehouse. It will be out in the next couple of weeks probably. Check our website if you want to know an exact release date.”

If you dont already have the game then whats the point of getting it friday without the pre-order costumes when the game will be out Monday?
