I’m having some problem with the 360 side of the device. First I noticed that the Xbxo guide button stopped working on the PS3, so I can’t open the XMB without an additional controller. And when I went to play on 360 it doesn’t work anymore. I connected the TE to my PC and it detects the Dual Strike, but when I try to run it in 360 mode (holding MP) it doesn’t recognize the device and windows gives me an error message. Can you explain how to fix this?
When testing it on your PC, when forcing PC mode (HK) do all buttons/directions respond in the controller app? This would include button 13 (home).
Next step is to snag a multimeter and get a voltage measurement on the HOME button while the stick is plugged into your PC/PS3.
does the TEasy work on mac to test it out? or is it only pc
Hey Phreak, fine ? I wanna buy the Teasy Strike but before i have some questions. Could you help me ?
1- Teasy have console autodetect ?
2- The wired headset work normally when TE is connected at 360 ?
3- I played at ps3 and soon I will play at 360. The board will recognize by yourself?
4- The spacers are really firm ? I ask because I travel a lot with the stick, many times with my bike. So i need something that dont move.
5- You have sent before for Brazil?

Side note, I know Mephisto put up a link to new firmware but do not update to 3.3.0 please, I’m advising all TEasy Strike users to remain at 3.2.0 for now (or whatever firmware they’ve currently got and works dandy).

Not sure if this has been addressed before. When installed do all the turbo features work when in ps3 mode?

okay so my dual strike stop working on the ps3 it’s a TE stick and I’m currently running the 3.2 firmware on it. It still works on Xbox I don’t know about PC but when I plug it in it registers on PC. My questions is do I have to Re-flash the firmware to get it to work again? When I plug it in the PS3 it say’s unknown usb device plug in. Anyone else had this problem?
I have a really weird problem, I just built a new PC but i cant seem to get my PC to recognize my stick on Xbox mode while holding MP. The PC mode works perfectly fine and it also works on the Xbox360. I’ve also noticed the it takes a good 3-5 seconds now for it to be recognized on the Xbox, it used to be instant. I have not tried it on the PS3 because I don’t own one Does anyone know whats wrong?

Okay, so I installed the XBCD drivers and now MP works and it recognizes the fightstick now. Only thing I don’t understand is why It windows couldn’t recognize it… Strange, any ideas?

Now it doesnt even auto-detect on the xbox. this is driving me crazy
MP = 360 mode, have you installed the official controller drivers from M$? If you didn’t install them first it won’t work on your PC in 360 mode. The only exception is Win7 which I believes has them built into the OS
On the PC you say that holding HK will bring up PC mode just fine, and that holding MP will (now) bring up the stick as an xbox controller and all indicators in the game controllers applet light up as they should, yes?
On the 360 itself, does the forced mode (MP) allow it to work just fine? Is it only the auto-detect that’s acting funny now?
so i received my teasy strike the other day and installed it and it worked just fine then i stopped using it for one day and suddenly i try to use it today and neither my xbox, ps3, or pc would detect it so i opened my stick up to realign the boards and now when i connect the stick to my pc it only reads it as a 360 te stick. i try holding down start, mp, or hk and either way its read as a 360 te stick. i triple checked and the boards are flush but it still only functions as a 360 stick.
Yeah, usually MP would of automatically installed the fightstick drivers, but this time i had to download the XBCD drivers for it to be recognized. After this, HK and MP worked fine, BUT if i were to play SSF4AE with xbox mode, the stick would disconnect for a quick second and connect as player 2. So then, i just kept spamming buttons to see if it would happen again and it did multiple times.
After the PC problems, i tried connecting it to the xbox again and it wouldnt auto-detect. I unplugged it to try MP on the xbox and it worked. By this time, I was already frustrated as hell and i just gave up. Could it be that the boards are not aligned correctly?

Unless you’re on Win7, it won’t automatically install the drivers for a 360 controller, so there’s nothing strange there… even if you are on the later OS, needing to install the drivers isn’t anything odd nor anything that has to do with the dual strike firmware. I’m more concerned with the disconnection and auto-detection issue.
Alignment sounds to be OK if PC mode works and all buttons check out. Did you just recently do the mod or have you had it for a while and it just now started acting up on the 360 side of things? Did the disconnection happen on the 360 system itself too?

By this do you mean PC mode does not work anymore as well, PS3 mode? Have you tried to re-flash the board’s firmware (direct link below)?
Not sure if I answered in email or not, but yes try a firmware flash.
Since my first stick became a wireless PS3 one, I had an extra TE pcb for 360 that I decided to use for a custom stick I’m building. Saw the new TEasy Strike (I have a TEasy Mod S in my second stick which I love) and how sexy that board is, couldn’t resist ordering immediately 
Now I just need to find a good solution for the wiring

Yeah I have Windows 7 on my old computer and the new, which is why i found it weird that it wouldn’t download the drivers by itself. I also think that the alignment is good, but now it doesn’t work for the PC or the xbox. When i plug it in, the xbox button lights up and stays lit up for all 4 players. I actually bought the stick already modded but it was working fine up until now so I really don’t have too much knowledge on the teasy strike.
Ohhhhh I see. Yeah the driver deal I’m not 100% on, still have an XP box myself, lol.
So are you unable to re-flash the 3.2.0 firmware? You do this by extracting the archive, holding START when plugging it in and then running the update_firmware_168.bat file.
