IIRC, hold down LK.
MP should activate pass-through mode, so 360.

OK thanks so if I hold down LK it won’t be recognized by the 360?
It’s weird I’m not sure what I did wrong but I"m getting weird inputs in the game. I would random 3x super would come out and I didn’t input it. It also tags out instead of just calling the assist. Where can I start to try to find where I went wrong?
Yea it’s just weird now random stuff just keeps coming out…
Is this random input on PS3 mode? That’s normal on PC, most OS even don’t recognize it. It uses a non-standard way of communication which works on PS3 but not on PC. But if it works on PC correctly it should also work on PS3.
You need to give me a little more to go on here.
based on your previous post, it seems to come up on PC with HK and MP in the respective modes as it should, correct?. Don’t use PS3 mode (LK) on your PC, there’s really no reason to use it over PC mode. If it works with HK on PC it will work on PS3 just fine.
Random inputs, are you saying this happens on your 360? Does this happen in games on your PC? Can you turn on inputs and verify random inputs are coming out on your 360?
It’s in Xbox mode. The OS recognizes it when I plug it in holding down HK. But not sure if it works 100% cause I can’t test the inputs.
Is there a program I can use to check and see my inputs on the PC? I plugged it in while holding down HK and it was recognized and the drivers were installed. I’m not sure if having both those drivers and the xbox controller ones would cause a problem. Is the P1 supposed to light up if it’s in PC mode? I hear the “new device sound” when I plug it in holding down HK but no light goes on. But when I hold down MP the P1 light does come on.
For the random inputs I really wasn’t sure what was happening, I tested it with inputs on in training mode and everything seemed fine. I just redid the installation just in case and I think it was maybe the wires to the actual buttons were pushing up against something and was causing the random inputs with the pressure.
Microsoft Windows > Control Panel > GameControllers.exe
I can’t remember how to access it on Win7, but it is there.
Sweet thanks! I just searched “game” in control panel and a device manager thing showed up. I got to check my inputs and it was working. It was registered as a “Dual Strike” usb device which is what it is!
will teasy s work with se? i
AFAIK there are no ‘S’ boards to be found in an SE stick, only the original model motherboards. Not sure if this still applies to the new, ugly Brawlsticks or not.
In theory you can use a TEasy Strike in a 360 SE stick, but you’ll need to find a different way of mounting the device as it will not fit straight in like it does with a TE stick.
So basically i have to find a ghetto way of getting the pcb of the se on to the the teasy s?
im just asking because i bought by mistake thinking it would work for my se and now im kind of stuck with it so im trying to make the best of the situation.
You could always return it and get the standard TEasy Strike version.
As it is, the ‘S’ version’s pins will not align to the contacts on the 360 motherboard. If you’re gonna start soldering wires to the board to get it to work you may as well have just purchased a Dual Strike or ChImp SMD instead and save the cash.
If you can wait just a little longer, my next run should be done end of next week and we can just do a quick exchange for the version you will need for an SE, which is a TEasy Strike, not the S version. I live in the burbs’ of Chicago so it’ll take like 2 days to do a swap
I might just buy a new and sell the other one to my friend since he wants his dual modded too. Will the teasy strike work with an original te stick?
question: does teasy strike works on a backwards compatible PS3 to play PS2 games?
Not ATM. We would like to enable it in the next firmware version, but we’ll need beta testers for this.
Got the chip back and it’s working once again on both systems, thanks Phreak!
Any news on the when the teasy strike will be ready?
Deciding which board to get for MK9. Went through a lot of these pages but I’m still confused.
I have a 360 Round 2 TE. Will TEasy Strike S work with this or do I have to wait for TEasy Strikes to come in?
“* TEasy Strike S: This board works on the Madcatz SSF4 TE sticks, Chun Li Blue, and more than likely the newer sticks coming out with the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3.” Reads like it works on all Madcatz SSF4 TE sticks, be they round 1 or round 2.
Sorry if I missed something obvious. Love your work. About time someone thought to do this. Can’t wait to shell out some bills and support your efforts once I know what to buy.
You’ll be wanting a standard TEasy Strike for a Round 2 Fightstick, so looks like you’ll need to wait till back in stock.
IIRC, TEasy Strike S models are currently only supported on TE-S, Chun-Li, and BlazBlue Fightsticks.
ahhh thanks. Looks like I’m with the rest of you then.
