Try to realgin as best you can, again though you never said if you bought the TEasy that’s meant for your version of TE though. You have a round 1/2 and bought a v1.2 board, yes?
Yes, I have a Round 1 TE and a v1.2 board.
Then after attempting the install, snap some pictures for me please.
any idea on when you will have more of these to purchase? I just found a local tournament that is ps3
Hey I was wondering if anyone has had this issue.
Oh about once or twice during a online session the stick does not respond but the buttons do.
I have to unplug-replug to get it to work.
Happens with a TE rnd 2 on ps3 modded with the ds and teasy.

Working on it, should have an update real soon here. If you’re looking at a hard date I’d say somewhere around the third week of january.
My guess is you have an older firmware that still has the Meta button functionality for “on the fly” joystick switching, meaning you’re accidentally pressing the “meta” button, which is mapped to select by default and pressing the joystick left or right. Update to the latest Firmware and that functionality is by default inactive to avoid that.
would you take any pre-orders or something like that?
I just ordered a DSv2 and would love to get one of these as soon as they are available
Should be getting some good stuff today from the factory, but pre-orders I won’t be taking atm. I have some testing to do first before I make any solid announcements.
Wow, that’s sleek. I like it!
Wait, I just made a guide with custom PCBs. Now I have to edit it only a few hours after publishing to update. Aww.
Very clean, awesome job.
EDIT: hehe, just realized it was blue. We’re gonna have some Red v. Blue action going on
Congrats to Phreak!
First video demonstrating Teasy Strike is coming by end of next week !
And a preview of ArcEye LED v2.0 by the end of the following week
wow Phreak. thats phreakin sweeT!
Thanks guys, can’t wait to finish playing catch up with the rest of the boards I have in this gigantic box. In future orders I’m FOR SURE inquiring about the assembly house doing the pogo pin population, for now they’re only handling the standard components. That still saves me oodles of time but there is definitely still assembly on my end

Maybe we can make a series of short, comedic animations done in the Street Fighter Universe. TOTALLY ORIGINAL IDEA!
Seriously though, thanks. The IDC connector was my “epiphany” after SB5. I tried installing the TM + DS combo on the fly during the tournament, and god damn screw terminals are still a pain in the ass, even for someone who knows exactly what they’re doing. This should alleviate many many issues, both for users, and for me during troubleshooting.
It’s also my saving grace during final testing. Insert wire, press down, test, pop up, done, rinse, repeat, hit showers.
Oh snap, I didn’t even realize that was an IDC; I thought it was one of those spring type terminals.
so from what I’m reading on the site, this means I don’t even need a dualstrike v2 pcb to go with the new TEasy Strike?
pre-ordered one regardless.
This is correct, although technically I could build one without active parts on it to be just like the original TEasy Mod if you still want to use it with a Dual Strike purchased prior to this release.
I’d prefer to just sell you the TEasy Strike though, things will in general go much smoother on your end, trust me
naw, I’d much rather have the new one! I’m sure someone here will need the DSv2 so I’ll just sell it
e: whoa, shipped already? that was fast
Hello fellow SRKers,
Im sure for the ones who already knew how easy the first TEasy mod was, The TEasy Strike makes an already easy mod even easier. I am going to assume that majority of people among this thread already know who to install this mod and for those who don’t there are plenty of resources available (instructions and videos on the first page). Since this board incorporates the Dual Strike, all you have to do is install this like the TEasy. Since I had already had the TEasy and Dual Strike set up this mod took about 3 minutes max. I would imagine it would take someone about 5-10 minutes from a fresh TE stick.
- Install the TEasy strike

- Put the stock PCB on top of the TEasy Strike

- Wire everything up and enjoy!!!

Side note: I took the usb cord and ran it along the left side of the joystick as you can see above. Great work with making an awesome product even easier for the lesser experienced moders of the community Phreak!
Thanks Chris, I appreciate the pics and will link in the OP
I’ve also updated the first post with some new information, turns out there’s a slight hole in my design in that it won’t work with the very first PCBs that were sent out with the SE’s and TE’s (Rev. A). They fucked up on the board design, figured out how to fix it, and revisioned the board very very quickly. Pics of what I’m talking about are in the first post.
