any idea when the release date is?
Shipped out yesterday, it should be at your doorstep in 6-10 days along with a dual strike. Enjoy!
I’m hoping to get the pogos by next weekend, although past experience with leads times says I’m looking at the end of the month. However, I’ll have my PCBs in hand sooner than that, and I do have some pogos left over so I can pump out a handful of boards as soon as I receive those.
RJ, they are being sold. Still under the beta and sure to be possible revisions in the future like a combined pcb. But seeing the feedback by people these things are the real deal.
From what it seems. Phreak may have still the TEasy boards for TE-S Sticks. If you need one for the round 1 or 2 te sticks you have to wait as he is waiting for shipments of the parts to make a new batch of these awesome boards. Hope this helps.
Lol! Phreak messages the above while I posted my reply to Rj. Oh well^^
@Phreakazoid187
any chance you can share the cad files?
looking for the BRD and SCH files if possible, please and thanks you
$30 seems a little steep to me (I realize it does cost money to produce these, just sayin. . . ) but that aside these look like an EXCELLENT product. Really helps simplify the process for peeps who don’t feel like doing a lot of soldering to their Fightstick PCB.
Figure it this way.
Cost = time + supplies + skills
Consider the following
You take 2 hours to solder this + the cost of the solder and wire + adequate soldering skills <= $30 then you are good
for me, with good soldering (pth + smd skill) + 30 minutes work this $30 investment is still a good deal.
32teeth is right, cost and value two different things. $30 for something that’s pure connectors seems steep, but you also have to realize the amount of work that goes into putting these guys together. They’re completely assembled and ready to go (I don’t even want to tell you how weird these guys are to put together), I even include things like zip ties/anchors and even extra ribbon cables at no extra charge if the customer asks, I’m also eating paypal fees.
They’re designed to simplify things to an almost no-brain operation, which to most people is worth well over $30 easy, especially if it saves them from having to touch their expensive PCB with a red hot iron
Unfortunate to say though, the next run will have to be bumped in price. I’ve had to adjust to a change to my bill of materials. I don’t know exactly how much it will increase, but it won’t be bank breaking by any means, I’m talking $4 max.
When will the prototypes for the combined be available? I am definitely down to purchase and test one.
Question to anyboy who knows the answer. How can I get a 360 PCB? I need to get one so I can dual mod my hori fightpad. Can anyone help as in where to find and price?
Go to a GameStop.
Buy the store brand controller (made by Mad Catz).
The Controller you want is one with pointed ends handle.
Looks like the mock version of the first PS3 contoller? I can give that PCB to Beng Fong to dual mod my hori then?

Just tell networkingyuppy for Mad Catz #4716.
He’ll know what it is and can get it for you.
If you want him to get it that is.
This Thread not for you to be asking these questions.
This Thread is for TEasy Mod from Phreakazoid187.
Thanks!
Any new news or updates?
Parts are on their way to me as I post this, got the first portion of them today. I should have them all in my hand by the end of the week and should have more v1.2 boards available for sale beginning/mid next week (I have a wedding to go to this weekend so not a lot of time to work on them).
edit: you meant about the combined board, right?
bencao74 and I are still in discussion on the finalized layout. Once that’s done it won’t be long before we have those prototyped.
Awesome! Good to hear that they be ready by next week!
I was curious about the combined boards. What is the benefits to have a combined TEasy board with the dualstrike as suppose to have both separately attached to a ribbon cable? Save space and possibly cheaper to make?
Once you have more 1.2s will you still be doing a package deal with the Dual Strikes? Just wondering, so I can either purchase or not purchase a dual strike, since they ship from EU, I think, and I live in the US.
The second i get the pieces and the arcade stick, ill mod it and take a photo, i can’t wait
im down to purchase one of the combined boards when the become available. i know it wont be for a while but im just throwing it out there.
