but yea, those scores at the end made little sense. You can tell they wanted to give the stick a 10 but for some reason didn’t…pretty stupid to me

Anyways, I hope I can answer your questions the best I can.
- Last time I checked its only a few pounds lighter than the TE. It all depends on how you play. If youre an “energetic” player to say the least, I’m sure you can even move the TE stick. You have to figure that out yourself.
- I dont think anyone can answer this question until more people have gotten their hands on it and give it their personal abuse from hours of gaming.
- Last I heard, I heard besides a few screws to take off and put in, it shouldnt be difficult at all.
- I dont think the standard fightstick’s art is replaceable… at all. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. From the looks of it, it looks like its just part of the casing. Its not a seperate layer or anything like the TE.
So I take it that the Japanese stick comment means that it uses a square gate? If I were to pick up one of these would it be easy to mod it to an American style stick?
Also I’ve never been able to find a good answer as to the difference between the TE and regular stick.
As far as I can tell the only differences other than looks are in the weight, the TE’s ability to be bolted down, and a compartment for the wires.
It’s most likely just an adhesive graphic. The question is, what’s underneath? Where does the top metal plate start/stop?
It’ll be a challenge to add a layer of acrylic on top for custom artwork though because of the slant where your wrists rest, but it’s possible. I’m sure as hell going to try.

A: Comes with square gate. American buttons? Maybe. Joystick? I doubt it. It mounts differently.

A: Standard stick has standard parts, not Sanwa. Standard is smaller, lighter, cheaper, etc.

Back ordered just means that they are waiting for stock to arrive. It did the same thing with my Gears 2 pre order,its just a placeholder,don’t worry.

I live in canada and I just went to EB and preordered the TE stick. But I also ordered from VGC,
and now I want to cancel it.
Did anyone else order from VGC and canceled it? How long did it take for them to cancel the order? Did they charge you 5%?
The standard fightstick ships on the 10th, the TE stick ships on the 17th.

I would get the standard SF4 and replace the stick and buttons. Why I have no reason why.
Hmm, 9.7, can’t say that I’m surprised. Honestly, that’s what I was expecting from this beast of a stick. Can’t wait to get my stick and play with it

I preordered from VGC, I’m really hoping they pull through. They called me because I used a coupon code for shipping and they said that was for software only, so charged that to my debit. I’ve dealt with far more shady dealers than them before, here’s hoping I don’t get screwed on this!
