I stopped by the GameStop I preordered my TE stick from, paid it in full at the preorder time. The manager working there was extremely friendly and helpful. She got my info and looked up my preorder. She said it was everything was fine, I would be getting it as soon as they get it in.
She also told me that they stopped doing preorders and the TE isn’t in their system anymore. Since it was no longer in their computer system she looked up the release date for me in a big white binder. I was told I can pick it up on the 11th unless the date changes later.
Everything Shin-RoTeNdO has been saying was 100% accurate, atleast for me. Now I feel confident I will get my 360TE on release day.
Just a heads up, i cancelled my preorder with estarland for a Ps3 TE (got an EB Canada preorder) so its worth looking out for it to pop up, not sure if they have a waitlist though
I really want to see where the metal plate extends underneath the artwork/sticker of the standard fight stick. The stick has a slant in front and I wonder how this will affect customization if the metal stops on the flat portion and the slant portion is just plastic.
I just paid off my 2 TE sticks at gamestop. They said they cut off the pre-orders the day after I preordered mine, so they are pretty sure i’ll be getting them.
Amazon always exaggerated ship dates. They will say the 25th up until your stick ships on the 10th, then they will say the estimated arrival date is the 20th shortly before the stick arrives at your residence on the 11th. They basically just take whatever date you ordered on (or in this case, the release date) and add 2 weeks to it.
