Here are pics to help you visualize it better (pic measurements shown in inches only):

Thanks for the fast reply, masturfader, hope you’re right, cuz if so, i won’t feel so bad if I can’t get my hands on the TE :lovin:
Thanks for the pics Markman, still want my TE sticks but if gs doesn’t come through. I will get the fight sticks.
this may have been ask before but with the TE can you screw off the ball top and screw on a bat top if I felt so inclined?
Yes, if you have the adapter. It’s a JLF.
so when opened up… it looks as if the Fight stick is the same as the tournament stick… what is the true difference other than weight an gloss?
sanwa so yes.
The parts used in the stick, the fight stick has generic parts the TE has all sanwa parts.
cool… good lookin on the info. but i can still swap em out correct? sorry but i usually don’t handle the tech side of it but imma try to do it myself now instead of trying to rely on people.
koop u just need to get the parts(i could help you get the right ones) and swap them all without any tools or soldering, its not hard at all.
Yes you can swap them out yourself , but in doing so you will void your warranty
This is SRK whats a warranty?
so, just out of curiosity, is there a way they can tell its been opened?
LOL…nice
Yes, they can tell. Markman said a few post back that he will be working directly with the repair team to go over the signs of a stick that has been opened .
you know the next thing to start selling out is the sanwa parts ~haha
“can’t get the TE make your own”
http://lizardlick.com/:lovin:
sticks all sold out though but looking at the parts it looks fairly easy (i could be wrong) maybe when somebody does it they can post step by step
yes, Seth mentioned that in one of the interviews. Can’t remember which one. I think it was the VGC interview
MarkMan, please confirm which Sanwa stick the standard FS will take. Is it the JLF-TP-8YT?
Geezer
They fill the innards of the TE sticks with MadCatz employee unwiped ass air. Once it’s opened and released, it smells like spring time flowers.
