Official Street Fighter IV FightSticks & FightPad Thread (More on the way!)

Yup i got another answer and the colissimo is the way to go for europe deliveries on gameswave.
I think your best bet is gameswave since the preorder there seems pretty recent and they said they’d have good quantities.
Considering the price you should cancel play-asia, and mail amazon.fr/shopto.com.

1-3 days? You charge a whopping $105 shipping from NY to Toronto Ontario, for $105 it should be delivered in 6 hours. It’s pretty distasteful that you’re trying to take advantage of this scarcity and gouge international customers on shipping

I don’t mean to pester or annoy you but would it be a problem to ask for a specific date

I highly doubt that international shipping is going to cost you around $100USD to send something to New Zealand. Or, as someone in Canada reports, to Canada, since apparently the shipping to there is also around the 100 dollar mark.

This item isn’t even that big, and it isn’t even this item itself which I’ve noticed holds such a high shipping price. If you want international buyers on your site, you’re going to have to do something about this. USPS for example takes 8-10 days to reach me from the US, which isn’t bad at all. I don’t want it immediately, but being FORCED to pay for the highest priced shipping method available is absurd.

You’re essentially asking international buyers to spend $100 dollars on shipping, and $150 on the stick itself. Well, bad news. That’s not happening. A lot of people are going to share the same opinion as I do - the shipping - $105.70 USD in fact - is way too much.

To prove my point further, Play-Asia are shipping the Hori Real Arcade Pro EX2 for the Xbox at $150 (same price as the SFTE stick), and their shipping are as follows:

UPS $53.40
FedEx $59.40
EMS $68.90

EMS is by far the best shipping method available in the entire world, and it isn’t anywhere near $100. So basically what I’m trying to say is, the shipping method you’re using isn’t what it costs to ship it internationally, especially to a neighbour like Canada, but it’s that high that you end up gaining a tidy profit out of the shipping cost as well.

Like I said, if you change this, I will preorder one. Otherwise, forget it. I pretty much can’t preorder one anywhere as it is because no one cares about Aus/NZ buyers, especially MadCatz. And apparently you guys don’t either. :frowning:

We will have it up in .pdf form around launch… You can DL it and print it out yourself!

Dunno how you can be so patient MarkMan…i would have killed quite a lot of people on this thread already if it was me

soooo who has the sticks?

Patience is a virtue.

You should see me in real life, I had my guns ready.

lol jk

To the frenchies^^ : Do you know if we can cancel a preorder from gameswave ? I ordered it on Amazon yesterday but if the quantities are limited… (i am french too by the way).

Just curious;

With all due respect, when I first heard Mad Catz was making the sticks, I was disappointed and extremely skeptical as to what kind of product it would be. I thought, "Why would Capcom license with them?!"
A few months later, here we are with an insane demand for the SFIV sticks; a Mad Catz product, myself included in the crowd of people who would gladly sacrifice a few chickens and do a dance to get a unit.
To me, it seems like a top notch quality product and I can’t wait to take it out for a spin.

How many of you guys also went through this initial period of skepticism only to realize that the company may have indeed turned over a new leaf in delivering quality peripherals to the gaming market?

Same. But I’m interested on the regular stick and GamePad. I still appretiate the quality of the TE one. MadCatz is on it’s way as the #1 peripheral maker of 09.

Can’t help ya, i’ve never ordered the normal way, the store is in my town so i just use the option to get it in the store and i usually paid there too.
You can email them to ask though.

@MarkMan: haha :rofl:

@limitedE: a lot of people if you believe this board.
I personally didn’t have anything against Mad Catz, only bought a memory card for ps2 from them before xD

The video stops at 1:54. Is that happening to anybody else? Also who else has pre ordered from madcats u.k directly when they put up pre orders on their site yesterday for like 10 mins? I’m curious if I will defo get one as they took full payment as soon as I pre ordered it. I’ve emailed them 3-4 times, but no reply yet.

Had it not been for the Mad Catz name I think everyone would have ordered much sooner. The only reason I didn’t order right away is because I was cynical and skeptic to madkatz with the addition of the parts in the stick being rumored and not confirmed.

Hey MarkMan, are the Akuma and Blanka pad’s only available in the u.s?

True that. When I went to an import store and got my HRAP3 (YAY! ^_^) I was talkin to the owner about it and he says he’s have to use it in person to believe it. SO since it has the Madcatz name, he didn’t care too much for it. I was the same but I trust Markman. I mean he loves these things to death and is crazy about sticks (I envy you for all those stick I saw in a pic you posted) . I feel that if you work on something you love, you make a better product than someone who just wants money or doesn’t care. So I feel that since Markman is building the stick as well, it will turn out to be as good as he says. So I just have trust Markman on this.

The TE stick is the first Madcatz product I have purchased in about 15 years. I had a Madcatz AC adapter for the original Gameboy and it melted my Gameboy.

cool, thanks!

maybe the TE stick will melt the PS3 or Xbox360
