You should preorder @gameswave, from a french forum it’s a very good shop (small though). Amazon.fr orders will most likely not be honored (personal opinion but they have accepted far too much preorder…), but now I don’t know how long you still have with gameswave since the link was provided few hours ago already.
“Colissimo suivi europe”: this means that it a division of the french postal company specialize in business delivery that will assume yours and you will be able to track your package throughout its journey to your home (suivi = follow).

Let me try to break it down for you guys regarding the sticks because I know everyone is excited! As so am I as I had played on them and was fairly impressed.
The sticks are limited and they were from the start, so unit production was initially less. And therefore many companies took precautions on their own preorders with Madcatz. Now Madcatz has stated they will be in limited supply still for initial release as already announced the first time.
However due to the demand there may be a “second coming” of the item.
We have been around for over 10 years and honestly no company is going to tell you how many they are getting as honestly that information is confidential…so whoever you get it from (even if you preordered already) may not be guaranteed since honestly Madcatz can cut numbers if they were oversold. I can assure you that we will have an allocation are direct with Madcatz and will fill orders as they were received.
Markman is wrong about “confirmed numbers” there is no such thing in the gaming business. However there is a threshold that we use so that is why we always urge to GET YOUR PREORDERS IN EARLY so we and the manufacturer know what is needed! So that “down to the wire stuff” doesn’t happen.
I can assure you that the VGC staff will be in contact with all who preordered the item, hey if you want you can even say hello on Saturday night in NYC China Town Fair arcade where I can tell you all about it!

I really like their site (many imports etc) and I think that they ll “treat” gamers better then generic sites (amazon etc).
If everything is fine with my order then I am gonna say au revoir (lol) to amazon.

If you cut your ridiculous shipping down (from almost exactly $100 international), I’d buy from you. There’s no need for that. These things don’t cost $100 in shipping to NZ, Canada, or anywhere outside of the US.
Does anyone know what stock buttons and stick are on the fightstick? Obviously they’re not hori made. I know they’re different, but everytime I look though they look exactly like the TE sanwa parts.
i just notice that the start and select buttons are Withe g its amazing i do not like the black buttons on top thought about changing them BUT well i do not need to buy them
i can change them with start+select

Please excuse my ignorance. What I’m trying to understand is your definition, or distinction between “confirmed numbers” and “allocation” or “threshold”. Don’t get me wrong VGC guys…I’ve already put my $$$ on you, and plan to keep it there in hopes that I can get my hands on one of these. I’m just concerned, which I think it’s normal.
I see you guys deal with INNEX, so as long as my order is well within that “allocation” I’m fine. I will be the first to give you guys good reviews and props for a good shopping experience. How do the “others” know when to stop taking pre-orders?

Markman, are the start and select buttons also 30 mm? I can’t quite remember when playing on the stick if they were 24s. Thats pretty forward thinking there if true. So many cool details.

Scratch that, the start and select buttons are 24mm after looking at a pic, so you won’t be able to switch them Reaper. Would have been cool though, if a bit big in the back…
When did you order from VGC? I got my order on the 13th. I was actually in discussoin about them with friends for a couple days now and decided to pre-order from them.
I guess I was ahead of the SRK curve when it came to sticks from VGC which hopefully means I’ll get one. Seeing as how well hey if you find out about it before SRK does then hell you’re chances are way up there as SRK is going to find it before anyone.
Yeah, your’re right…however we don’t ship those snail mail methods as we have had problems with any other method than Global Express which is a 1-3 day delivery method that has real tracking, insurance and customs cleared and is probably the #1 way to send internationally and the most secure for you. Though unfortunately it’s expensive.
I too ordered from VGC, but on the 12th. Seeing all the chaos on the boards about the TE sticks OOS for their pre-orders just pushed me to order from VGC. I was iffy about the order because of VGC’s reviews, but I’ve been a long time subscriber to them on youtube (hah) & seeing as they were able to get interviews with capcom at CES, I took the chance.
On the day I ordered the PS3 TE stick (12th), I got a confirmation email from them. Now, today (15th), my card has been charged for the purchase.
Here’s to hoping that I get the beloved TE stick :]
