Official Street Fighter IV FightSticks & FightPad Thread (More on the way!)

Just confirmed the sku’s for EB Games Canada.

PS3 FightStick
616188-9
PS3 FightPad
616186-3

360 Fight Stick
616224-2
360 FightPad
616223-4

Unfortunately, no TE sticks posted yet.
I suggest calling EB Games Home Office 905-790-9262 and speak with customer service.

Ask specifically about the Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition FightStick from MadCatz and leave your real name and a contact number.
If enough people ask, the category managers might take notice and bring in the TE sticks. Get all your friends to call too.

I’m sure MadCatz still has a Canadian allocation that’s apart from the US.
Start dialing.

Shipping: 105.70

No.

Anyway, anywhere else? I’m surprised there’s no Aus/NZ distributor for this.

Gnial !!! merci l’ami:wgrin:

Hey Guys does any one know if gameshark.net wiill be putting there pre orders back up?
Surly they can supply to demand as they are the offical uk stockist for madcats right?
Im not to bothered as ve placed an order from GS anyway but would rather get it from here in the uk as it will be with me on the day of the launch and also i wont have to pay any duties etc…

So if any of you guys know whats is happnin with them let me know please
cheers

P.S Any one if amazon uk will be stocking this as all the rest of them are?

@Dav3yb,
According to GameStop’s product description of the SVIV Fight Sticks (Non-TE) they do have quick connects but use cheaper buttons.

I know that most of the time companies won’t see all copies of products via pre-order. I wonder if the Tournament Edtion sticks are actually sold out completely, or if they have just reached their maximum number of pre-orders and there will still be a few available to be picked up upon release.

VGC had some horrible reviews online. They have a bad record with the Better Business Bureau…however, there’s nothing else out there :frowning:

I ordered and called to confirm. They say they will not know whether they oversold it until the release date. Is that normal?

That is not normal. They should already know their committed quantity well ahead of time.

We have these in our launch planners.

Now if they aren’t ordering directly from us and from a distributor (such as INNEX), that is different. I still haven’t heard word back from VGC on weather or not they are direct from us or what… But when I first checked, they were not.

Thanks bm_ss!

Is there some way we could find out if there is a committed quantity to Canadian retailers? =)

Hey MarkMan, can you tell us how many of the TE sticks are going to be made and if everyone who pre-ordered will get one?

hey markman, i think you should get madcatz to market the regular stick to have “sanway” branded stick and buttons “instead of generic”.

p.s. “sanway” was a mis-written joke from about 50 pages back or so.

the pads are realy cheap at amazon.uk but no sticks… http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mad-Catz-Xbox-Street-Fighter/dp/B001LK7FHO/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1231965172&sr=8-5

Just seen the latest issue of Edge. Nice interview regarding the sticks :wgrin:

Might grab up one of those pads for tekken later on this year.

Is that the one with Miyamoto on the cover?

Here is another article on the sticks.

Dont think so. This is in the UK btw. not sure in the US.

They said that if anything changes from their “distributor” then they’ll contact me, but that as of now, I “should be” okay. Otherwise, they’ll reimburse me, but full refund will only happen if they oversold, which again, apparently will not be confirmed until release date.

What question can I ask them so that I can have some peace of mind? Who their distributor is?

Also, are the lower-end sticks and pads “limited” edition as well or will they be produced regularly?

Thanks MarkMan

Looks like they are making more sticks than the initial 3,000. At least enough to cover the pre-orders (over the initial 3,000) they got.
