I wish we could get some info on a Canadian release… it would at least let some of us get orders in for Sanwa parts for regular FS’s in time for SF4’s arrival.
I’m sick of my old-ass custom from 2002 with Happ components… was really hoping to pick one of these up on day 1.
In that video, they keep mentioning that you could swap out to an American stick if you’d like b/c the bottom of the TE stick has room. But, Markman said it won’t fit a HAPP.
So can it fit a HAPP or what?
Dunno, but it doesn’t matter for me, I’m on mainland Europe… I’m gonna cross my fingers and wait to see if amazon will sell it…

I think what he meant by swapping out for an American style stick is that you can take off the ball top and put on a bat style instead.I don’t think a HAPP stick will fit.
Yep, it now says “Pre-Orders Suspended”. Play.com haven’t got their pre-orders back on yet either. They were only taking them for an hour or so before they took it off. They have the pads on there now - 34.99 on PS3 and 360. Amazon has them on for 24.99 but only on 360, and it doesnt look like you get a choice which design you get.
Cant see anywhere else which has the sticks for UK.

I received an e-mail from shop-to.com saying that the price of my pre-order has changed…
I will now have to pay 150 EUR instead of 153 EUR.

But, right after that, he mentions that they bored out the bottom and it would fit any size stick in the market. That’s an odd way of saying it won’t fit a HAPP.

If you are referring to web orders ‘in store pickup’, then yes. I’ve had many people reserve games from the comfort of their own home and pick up their games at our store.
We understand people have work, school, etc… so we try to take care of our customers.

I was just watching the video again and he does say it’ll fit any stick on the market so that sounds like it should take a HAPP stick,sorry for the wrong info.
Anyone happen to know or figure if stores like best buy would carry the TE stick. I would love to use my employee discount on it, but from all this pre-order madness, I can’t forsee to well a retail store carrying it in stock.

so are there going to be a lot more of the non TE sticks? i figured i might pick up a couple those and just throw sanwa buttons in em if they have the same internal setup as the TE’s (quick disconnects and all)
Pretty much. I’ve been checking everyday to see if I can cancel my GS order and potentially order from amazon.ca or some other Canadian retailer.
