Even so. This tournament is Savior’s. Stork’s waiting for him in the finals, and nothing will stop DinoToss from getting that silver medal. Not Savior going some stupid build (3hatch Hydraspeed v Terran?), or the build he does every other game. Not Savior forgetting Adrenal upgrades. NOTHING.
Sea was doomed from the start, and Stork can win this because it isn’t a Starleague.

lol, you guys seen that match with 52Layla vs Xellos? It was on GomTV and both of them lifted their main Command Centers one after another and Tasteless doing the commentary is like "Wow, that’s embarrassing!..you can see the coach of the team just shaking his head"

I only watched two games, but he seems all right. He’s insightful and knowledgable about the game but he doesn’t really get hype about anything like Tasteless does.
Dude almost put me to sleep. Especially watching ti live at 4 am. I had to watch Psyionic Reaver’s broadcast of the game. I thought that was cool they actually let other peopel broadcast the game live.

I doubt many of us really cared about any progamers having to go into the military except Boxer.
But now Reach is going to start his mandatory military service and will be joining ACE next season… isn’t Boxer finishing up really soon? I guess we will still have a reason to care about ACE, even if ACE might lose its main reason to care, period.
Oh and Silent_Control is also going into the military and joining ACE but who cares.

ForGG takes down Flash in PL, adding yet another loss to Flash’s increasingly human-looking game. Don’t think Flash is done just yet, he should still do well in leagues, but his momentum is all but gone so it’s probably time for him to mature a bit and then come back and own it up some more.
ForGG is a beast, though. At some point the generally poor micro seems to have become less and less an issue as his macro is just that good and his game sense has gotten pretty good, timing is there as well. I like to laugh at how quickly he randomly gets units killed sometimes but it’s scary how quickly he replaces them with even more units.
My goal by the end of the year is to figure out why only in starcraft do you start to suck after being on top instead of someone knocking you out of the top spot. If I was to ask Bisu, Flash, Jaedong, and Savior why they suddenly started to suck what could they really say?
Because it’s not suck but “gotten worse”? Because that happens? It’s not an infinite serious of continously better players, it’s often that old players start to get worse, maybe a bit worn out. Starcraft at pro level is pretty stressfull all while being a sitting sport.
Compare that with fighting games, also sitting but much less stressfull. Yet still completely thrilling. I hope Starcraft 2 will simply offer deeper mindgames and giving you more time to think, that will have great players stay great for a far longer time.
Look at the amount of games they’re playing and practicing for. It’s just that they’re probably getting burned out. Flash, at one point, was in three individual leagues, against a different race in all three (Luxury(Z), Lucifer§, Lomo(T)). Plus he’s a regular in proleague, and more often than not he plays the ACE matches. You can only prepare for so much.
Yeah, I’d have to agree with the burning out aspect. Especially when you factor in that OSL uses maps like Hwangdro, proleague still uses Katrina/Blue Storm and on GOM you’ll see new maps like Wuthering Heights
that’s a shitload to practice for.
