Hwasin gave that series to Jaedong, blah. Should have won game 2 but targeted lurker egg instead of hatch, had plenty of time to block his ramp and save himself from the 4pool in game 3… should have been 3-0 but he got sloppy at just the wrong time… EE HAN TIMINGU =[
Not to take anything away from Jaedong, he took what he was given and ran with it as usual, so hopefully that was the spark he needed to get back into ZvT form and kill Flash (or Lomo lololololol) in the final.
The sad thing, other than Hwasin losing a set that really was his to lose (and lose it he did, sigh), is that Lomo beating Flash doesn’t seem so impossible. Yeah, it’s unlikely, but Ma Jae Yoon just got dropped to the B-team. ANYTHING IS POSSIBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW

I like how the comments from TL and others say this is a cheese / cheap tactic… They expect every game to be 15-20minutes long. 
Who in the right mind would be thinking, “Gee, I know I have a chance to kill him in 5 minutes, but instead, for the sake of the fans, I’ll sandbag and wait until my opponent makes the terran death ball, possibly running over me late game with Vessels and whatever crap the terrans have.”
Cheese is any all in strategy pretty much. It’s typically a sign of a lack of skill because it’s based mostly on luck and less on skill. Doesn’t mean they expect everyone to play 15 minute games. Just means that is what normally happens and is typically the least risky way to win.
Lack of skill? Not necessarily although you can beat a higher skilled person with cheese. Cheese is a great way to keep someone honest so one can’t get away with say 3hatch before pool or something.
The thing is about cheese is that all players do it, even the best players. Hell, JD vs Flash in the GSI was nothing but cheesy, all in rushes. It really use a mind game since it keeps people guessing as far as what build orders to go for and what your opponent could go for as well.
It’s both actually. I could write a long paragraph but it’s keeping them honest and also crossing your fingers praying for a win. Depends on the players emotions at the time but it’s certainly not keeping them honest every game. Same as how it’s not lack of skill each time.

EDIT: Damn Best takes it after being down 0-2, good Zerg players are in short supply.
Lux managed to throw away a 3-0 by going into macro mode rather than just pumping mutaling and stomping on Best’s remaining defenses in the 3set. Oh well, Best pulled through with some good play and Lux just got worse and worse from that point.
Jaedong and Lux are still probably the top 2 Zergs at the moment and really strong players overall, but like everybody else they’re prone to mental lapses at times, and you just can’t afford that in a single-elim tournament. Jaedong went through because his opponent blanked even harder, Lux lost because his opponent pulled himself together at just the right time.
Flash needs to pull a convincing revival in the MSL or lose to Lomo’s wraiths, an all-Lecaf final would be hilarious. Almost as hilarious as the possibility of FIVE Lecaf players going into the top 8 for the TG Intel Classic.
