Official Starcraft Thread

didn’t watch group A so I can’t comment on those, but in group B, probably Jaedong vs. Nada.
Much vs. Nada was pretty good up until Katrina carriers happened.

So do Koreans just dominate completely at this game?

Are there any Jap/american/ or european’s that even compete?

Man I thought it was a live action Star Craft the Musical (Starring Nathan Lane, Charo, and Jackie Mason as the overmind)or Zerglings on Ice. Fuck this shit it is like watching poker or worse soccer.

LoL, there’s someone repping ROK Air Military(airforce) in that show. I am a scrub, but I like watching any commentary-supplied tourney footages. Thanks for the hookup.

FFD: the person in the Air Force ACE team is Boxer.

In fact, the ACE team was pretty much made so he can continue playing. Currently he is pretty handicapped since his training schedule is very limited compared to other teams, but he hopes to return once his service is done. Hopefully by staying “semi active” he will have better chances to return to the spotlight.

If you look for his name in Youtube you are going to see a lot of tributes that show his play style. He is pretty amazing to watch especially during his prime.

Boxer is the Michael Jordan of starcraft. Before he joined the airforce he was one of the top players but since every man in Korean is supposed to serve like 2 years in the military he had to stop playing starcraft for awhile. But now hes back…with the airforce!

You know what, I’ve heard of Lim, Yo-Hwan before but I had no idea he was “Boxer.” That’s how famous this dude must be; I don’t check up any on the starcraft shit and I knew of his name, cuz there are random comic book strips about him. Ended in Airforce AND he plays games, wow, that dude has it made.

yep. thats awesome.
Ive always known him as boxer:rofl:

he looks so different now…that airforce G’d him up.

They are as dayflies.

Koreans always win in starcraft vs anyone

There are some players in China and Europe, but the Koreans are still top tier.

Warcraft 3 has more diversity on its progamer ranks.

these are very entertaining, i cant believe some of the micro these guys pull together. they must’ve been shitting bricks when they first got wind of starcraft 2

Why watch it on the computer when you can watch it in person.

(Runs outside)

He threw that match so he wouldn’t have to play his teammate Anytime in the next round. Also I think he is angry at Flash for beating him in their last encounter and wants to make a point by knocking him out of every league.

Cause not everyone is currently in Korea like yOoooooooU! :amazed:

Koreans have lost to foreigners.

I think North Korea and South Korea should settle all their future disputes through SC2.

Grrr

Also go idra

I concur
Then maybe I can go home… :woot:

It’s extremely rare. I think they’ve won the world cyber games every year but 1 if i remember correctly.
