When will this game be released?
Iāve been thinking about how Claw could give Blanka problems when the Blanka player opts to go for a vertical ball as an AA. The fake wall dive sounds like it could lesson Blankaās effectiveness in stopping Clawās air attacks. That is until I realized somethingā¦
Blankaās Arc ball might be the perfect counter for a fake wall diving Claw player. Actually, Iām thinking that there might be the possibility of using it almost exclusively as THE AA vs Claw instead of the vertical ball. Let me explainā¦
Since the Arc ball is supposed to have faster startup and recovery I think that Blanka can use that to his advantage and AA an attempted wall dive with the RH version because of the larger trajectory. If Claw goes for the fake then Blanka recovers in time with several options:
- Buffer Arc ball into electric
- Hop back on landing for escape (in case the Arc ball misses target)
- Begin a combo or block string etcā¦
Of course this is just an educated guess and only a true test will confirm or kill my theory but I have a funny feeling that the Arc ball is gonna cause problems for anybody not named Blanka. Letās hope so.

I hear your POV. I agree with parts of it, much of it could be true. I just feel for as many true game play changes added into remix, one could reasonably say there may be some balances issues that may be over looked. And some new move or set of new properties may make a character WAY stronger then intended.
As you, I am very excited for the game! These are just more thoughts in my head than anything else. Once it is out, and we all have some time to chew on it, weāll be able to see how good it really is. Otherwise, we just play in classic mode: old build w/ new graphics, which will be fun as well!

If gamers are highly opposed to playing in 16:9 or 4:3, would it be technically possible to set up a local online match where each player can choose their own aspect ratio in the same match? Iām sure this can be done through some networking jiggery pokery.
each player can choose their own screen format online and in system link. this is for when people that like to play offline, on the same tv (aka a typical offline tourney), where people will argue over what aspect to use

i feel ya man (no homo) but having it not out yet is understandable. what bothers me is that capcom said they were just waiting on the art. well the art is done and still no official release date?
iām not really mad at capcom but just confused. info about this game used to come out on a weekly basis. then monthly. then every two months. then never. the only way to see anything new about this game is through fans who have connections and cameras. but as far as i know, this game is the first of itās kind when it comes to the fans semi-producing the game. they put something out and we will deem it āworthyā or ānot worthyā and back it goes to get fixed until they get it right.:lovin:
The release date is not up to Capcom. Microsoft and Sony have last say.
