I said akumas teleport is arguably the best teleport in the game. I say arguably, however, in my opinion it is the best teleport by a longshot. yeah you can bait it, but you have to sacrifice alot of momentum doing it. you make it sound like Akumas teleport never gets him out of aggro. (Ever played Gief VS Akuma?)

Oh yeah… i’ve got it stuck in my head that Oni’s Hadou has 38 Frames. I’m way off, i do however still think that giving Oni a full screen uncharged projectile is a good buff to zoning. Not gamebreaking of course.

Besides if i wanted to defend myself in a gay way i could say that Tali also recommended they improve the projectiles recovery, which could easily be concieved as better than Ryu… But i won’t do that, i’ll argue fairly :stuck_out_tongue:


These two are just mechanics, as far as im aware bison can only do 2 hits in the air in to EX Scissors/Psycho. One hit in the air will allow him to do anything. The reason the other character goes in to a standing state is because the move has hits which are a prerequisite hit to an Auto combos (Cinematic combo) all of Chun Li’s initial hits are simple stun VS ground & knockdown VS Airborne hits. the only hits that leads to a cinematic is the final upkick. Mind you they did kind of **** up her her U1 i AE, i have no idea why, it was hardly abusive. The reason why her U1 doesn’t cause the opponent to stand is because they didn’t want this to be an ultra you could perform anywhere on screen. They could probably solve this by making the third/fourth hit cause an opponent to stand up instead of the first.

What is Seths “Back Kick?”

Her U2 causes Standard Knockdown on every hit this, it also has a JP of around 33 which means the more times you hit them whilst airborne the less hits the U2 will do. (Say, if you do EX SBK twice to ultra, rather than once) Every hit causes the opponent to move back slightly which, i’m guessing can cause them to push out of the Ultras ambiguously small hurtbox. Problem here is, every hit MUST cause standard knockdown, otherwise if you hit a grounded opponent it’d hit about 50 times.

I’m not saying what you’re asking for is unreasonable, i’m just telling you why they don’t work. Also i don’t play Chun, but it isn’t her standing HK a really, really good normal. It just seem complaing that it doesn’t hit people sometimes is like an Akuma player complaining some characters can make the second hit of his stand HK whiff if they crouch guard.

nah man don’t argue, just say things like oni should be able to turn into that full dark form when he does ultra 2 at the beginning of the match and then be invincible, and that makoto also takes your lunch money from you when she does her command grab, its all right their is no maturity on these forums, id rather just face some of these trolls here.

sadly, id love to give you a troll mode cage match with my mains dan, troll blanka, and zangitroll , but im on xbox. i doubt youd have much to offer anyway.

if you cant really understand why games shouldnt be balanced around story elements, or why a top 5 character without bad matches shouldnt get buffed, i doubt it’d be more than jumping, mashed dps, full screen ground tatsus and wake up ultras

If you look at his meter building, it’s average, 20 for blocked/wiffed specials, 30 for hits. I think the main issue people have is that palm building is abnoxious, but that could be fixed with more recovery or worse hitbox.

more recovery would probrablly do the trick. maybe reduce the damage on hit. after that, reduce the command grab range and yangs ok

I’ve taken your responses seriously & gave you reasons why they are detriment to improvement to the game. whether they’re trolling or not is besides the point, you’re not teplying to them you’re replying to me, hell you might be the only one reading my posts, they ain’t aimed at anyone else. & you’re a hypocrite for accusing this board of trolling, whilst sh*****g on the mature & considerate posts i’m making.

Skill is an irrelevant factor here anyway, you could be Daigo Class for all it matters, how can you expect not to get trolled when your reasoning for improving Kens SRK is that “He’s mastered it” If that was a reasonable logic to buff/nerf then

  • Akuma should have shoto health, or slightly more
  • Gen should be in a hospital bed
  • Makoto & Sakura should outright suck
  • Chun Li wouldn’t be a policewoman because she’s to busy randomly fighting people
  • Bison should never die
  • Balrog should have enough damn bike money anyway
  • Vega should have actually killed someone by now.
  • Gouken shouldn’t be alive
  • Hakan should be set on fire when he gets hit by something fire-based
  • Hakan should leave slippery oil on the floor if he slides after oiling up

Basing a buff on an aesthetic of a move is pointless. someone else pointed out that Goukens projectile does less damage than Dans, looking at a move in one dimension is pointless when there is more to attacks in this game than how many points it does in damage.


Increasing recovery could risk him having no post Palm combos, Like DP.Shoulder in corner. Maybe they could do a Balrog & only have increased recovery on whifff. then again it’s projectile based, i don’t know if they could implement something like that.

God knows, i’m sure they’ll figure something out, at this stage i’d be happy with just EX lunge minus on block.

His command grab already has the least range of all grabs comboable afterwards (ignoring Fei’s non EX grabs). I think the idea of 1 hit scaling would be better, specially since you can combo into U2 after a command grab for 450+ dmg.
