His command grab already has the least range of all grabs comboable afterwards (ignoring Fei’s non EX grabs). I think the idea of 1 hit scaling would be better, specially since you can combo into U2 after a command grab for 450+ dmg.

I don’t think Ken has any bad matchups. If you want to give a 6-4 for the twins against Akuma (or even 7-3 vs Yun if you’re one of the whiners), Ken comes out ahead in matchups.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind the twins staying the same if they destroyed their command grab. I have the feeling that it’s the only reason they have such strong offense and why you see so much (top) players take their low pokes. Because they fear it, as it leads to good damage, to Super, to Ultra… It’s like fighting extreme rushdown combined with extreme grappler. So much fun…

Whatever… It’s already a given they will get the nerf bat, I’m just really curious to see the approach of Capcom on this.

i also strongly disagree with any nerfs to fei’s grab. its 7 frames slower than the twins, and is only useable on one hit canceled unconfirmed jabs, and meaty on wake up

Nah, I’d rather the palm whiff strategy just carried more risk. How many characters can actually punish that right now anyway? Gen crane U2, maybe Guy EX flip… gotta be some others…
