how about t hawks dp or guys hurricane kick?

T.hawk may as well be fadcable since he can EX dive away on a blocked one for a total of two bars.

Guy suggestions:

  • Hurricane Buff
    Regular hurricane’s not throwable on start up, making it a better risk reward for trying to beat meaty throws or meaty lows. A frame or 2 of invincibitly would be nice too, for when you are attempting pressure with guy and all the opponent is doing is mashing on OS tech, which can sometimes be very difficult to deal with because guy has hardly any counter measures for it. This would also help in the matches vs the grapplers. They tick into 360 and you have an option out with sk hurricane because it would be either unthrowable or off the ground on the first frame.

  • Run / Stop Pressure Buff
    I would love to see him + more frames after a blocked normal into run / stop. Lessen stop recovery time so he could get to maybe +1 after a run stop from TC (on block) vs -3. This would help his general pressure vs mashers and would do wonders versus the grappler match ups, being able to pressure them without fear of being thrown at every stop / shoulder / ect.

  • Shoulder
    Get it to even on block. This gives him a decent safe chip option and at 0, he isn’t able just to abuse it. Again another move to help deal with the Grapplers too, pressure them somewhat safely.

  • Walk speed buff
    I am on board with everyone else with this one, I’m not talking akuma or nothing like that but, just faster.

  • SLIGHTLY FASTER start up for c.fp
    One of his best throw tech crushers that works some of the time. Slightly speed this move up to better compliment how it seems to be intended to use. Start up is currently 9 and Duration of 2, how about start up of 7 and duration of 3. Just SLIGHT buff, enough again to make it more useful in that scenario.

  • Normal Throw range
    The median normal throw range, 0.9 I believe it is?

Other than that, I find him to be a good mix of challenge and fun. If anything for fun would be added to guy (and still have him fair in top level play) I would like to see:

Bushin Flip:
A high option out of bushin flip, giving people a reason to stand up when he does it. I would prefer you would have to combo from it to get a knockdown from it.

Seriously, I’m with you. Just cause you can’t FADC it it is bad. Cmon… Go play a character that gets jumped on during wakeup allday then come talk to me.

I know I said this earlier but you shouldn’t even be able to FADC reversals with how easy they are.

lets not forget gens dp. that move should be fadcable before onis.

He has a 3 frame move

Are you kidding? Ive mixed up players up to 5 TIMES and not stunned them. Most people I stun are down to less than 10% hp. Akuma’s stun has already been nerfed enough as it is…

^lol I find it funny that anyone would ask for a stun nerf on Akuma. He doesn’t stun worth crap if you actually want to use his vortex.

Cant help but laugh at the 3s fanboys who begged for the twins in sf4, and now they beg for them to be nerfed. You wanted the fuck footsies twins you got them (without parries to keep the dive kicks in check) haha

Twould be awesome if it was changed so that to tech a throw you must be standing.
The OS crouch tech fiasco is bullshit and its about time they fixed it.

There are way worse option selects to worry about in this game. You can bait crouch techs and get humongous counterhit combos. There is a risk to cr.teching.

cr.teching has been in this game for 3 years now, they aren’t going to change anything now.

  1. Asking for SPD range is a lot different than asking for a small buff. If her range was increased by 0.07 for all ranges she would still have shorter range than Yun/Yang on their command throws. In 3S her karakusa range was about 50% longer than Yun/Yangs flip throw. It had the same range as Alex F. Powerbomb and she still wasn’t #1 Super Turbo Akuma broken tier godlike. It would still have a 7/8/9F startup with no throw invincibility, an extremely punishable recovery on whiff, and damage scaling on any combos done after (unlike Fei/Yun/Yang) The other option is to increase the window she can F-LK kara cancel into karakusa because currently that window is smaller than it was in 3S and thus difficult to impractical (Yet to see a single high level Makoto user try the F-LK kara cancel, seen S.Lk but not F.Lk)

  2. I took the time to type out the word “ALMOST” for a reason. And yes he does have ONE 3F move which is short range. Standing close MK. On top of the long startups, all of his jabs are 0 on block thanks to the long recovery. Compare that to say Akuma who has +3 on block for his jabs 1/3rd - 1/2 the recovery for his moves on the off chance they miss. Not to mention Gouken of course having the 3rd longest recovery move in the game which is made worse by the fact it whiffs crouching making FADCing it harder/impossible sometimes.

And the asking of nerfing Akuma’s stun even more to the ground?

more than likely because he lose to those specific moves. why else would people ask for nerfs to akuma even though his stun game pretty mediocre now?

I got a buff. Buff cammy’s booty, its too flat. And buff C.Vipers tits they looke weird in her default costume. Also buff roses’ face her chin looks like a dudes. in fact give all the female characaters a buff in the “booty” department. MY dream buffs.
