Luckily I got mines for $20 from play-asia a couple of years ago. I wish I would’ve bought an extra one just for the hell of it. The cards are a cool bonus though.

So are the black ones any different from the white ones aside from the obvious? Are they made by the same company? I just saw a black one for 22 and grabbed it because it seemed like a good deal. I’m just looking to use it for GGPO.

Nah, no difference at all. The black one has the same box like the off white one, but with a black controller on the box of course.

Seems pretty impossible to find the Darkstalkers ps2 controller…

Guess I’ll have to settle for the pc version.

I’m pretty hard pressed to find a PS2 Saturn Pad as well. I have no doubt that these USB Saturn Pads are just as good quality wise, but I really want to be able to use a Saturn Pad on a PS2 since I really don’t want to use my PS3 to play PS2 games due to HDMI lag. Not to mention, I really need more stuff to take full advantage of the inPin I’m going to be getting from laugh. Any chance that any of you guys would be willing to part with one of yours? (Will move this request to Trade Outlet if necessary)

It’s not worth it, I’ll be happy with my PS3 controller.

Hey any mac users? i tried using it. OSX found the pad, but macmame or any other game won’t recognize the controller.

any help!

The packaging on these rereleased controllers is mainly Japanese; has anyone in Japan found them available for sale at local shops? I’m in Okinawa, so I’ll check around here before long. Can’t imagine they’d be cheaper than they are on Ebay right now, but it’s worth a look.

Yeah! I just got one of these too and they’re fantastic. Works great on Street Fighter Alpha 1 downloaded from PSN; I’m stoked to use it on Street Fighter IV and Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection.

Is there any word on how you can get them to work for PS2/PSX games? I haven’t had any luck either getting them to sync up. Thanks!

I’m guessing Shrimpnoodles’ answer is “hook it up to a PC and use PCSX2.” What a solution!

no, my solution is hack the pad and make it into a project-like pad and that way, you can have it for ps2, xbox, dreamcast, 360, and ps3 like I have it. I currently have it for ps2, pc, dreamcast, and xbox360

Hey, what’s up SEGA?! I didn’t know the pads came in blue. There’s a bronze (?), white (w/ orange buttons), and pink one too.
