Also got to chapter 5, for some reason it’s not letting me put a 3rd barrel on my pistol, but I can do a double barrel. Any idea why?
I used the expander grip, connected to an extended adapter piece, to a multi sub barrel connected below to an L-adapter piece to another multi sub barrel. I think it is a multi sub-barrel, the one with all those connectors.
My triple barrel, 10 or maybe 7 (i forget) scoped smg works fine, but the connections are a bit different.

i’m in chapter 8 at 17 -18 hours clocked. currently in the 40s for all 3 characters. so far just needing to try to find more guns to play -_-;

anyone ever bothered to use the terminals to their advantage?

I hooked up the item drop rate terminals for a quest. Later I found out the enemy I was killing didn’t even drop the item I needed even though they are the same kind of enemy type.

I just now figured out why I never could pop enemies in the air for a bonus shot because I ALWAYS jumped during a heroic maneuver.

I am just fucking around the entire time, I’m like still on chapter 4.

I’m on chapter 8 now, still loving it. Zephyr’s rocking dual handguns now and rolling people’s faces. I’m trying to level up Vashyron and Leanne on the machineguns right now so they can catch up to Zephyr, who’s like lv. 49 to their 40.

As a side note to Gasaraki (who knows exactly what I mean when I say this), Chibi must never find out about Leanne. I have the feeling we’d never hear the end of it and have tiny Leanne avs appearing every day for a month.

My levels right now are V51/Z52/L57.

And yes, you’re right hahahah

Visually my favorites are Vash on dual HG/grenades, Leanne on dual SMG, and Zephyr single HG/grenades

Uhhhhh… Leanne has that skirt were you can see her underwear.
OMG, cost too much.

So right when you’re able to dual wield HGs I have to stripe both guns of every single mod to even use them. Is it even worth doing that? Seems to me one fully loaded HG would be better than 2 mediocre ones.

Yeah, your charge would be way too slow so don’t bother dual wielding until you can have both of them at least decently equipped.

Just did Chapter 7’s optional monster before the dungeon your supposed to get into.
Holy shit, that was a pain in the ass! Took me a good hour to beat both of them.

So I went into a glowing red hex on chapter 8 Basel lvl 8, and I greatly regret it. You fight 3 “Mad Goliath” which is sorta like a suped up version of the chapter 8 boss, WITH POISON ATTACKS. They don’t seem to be susceptible to any statuses either.

I have no idea how to beat them, and unfortunately I did not save before going into it, because I got overconfident. I thought I learned my lesson last time, but I let myself get overconfident again =(

That shit sucks, but I feel the same way when I run into red squares.
I’m like “I got this shit!” only to get raped and spend about an hour just figuring out how to take them out. I’ve yet to get give up on one, but I’d have to feeling if I didn’t save in like forever.

Also, just got done with Chapter 7, holy shit that boss was no joke!
Dude look and was design like a joke (had a really nice boss song), but damn when he threw his nads… holy fuck! First time I ever had to use “Cure Kit”, and more than once.

Oh btw, some random good info on the game.

*Unlockable clothes

Once chapter 7 begins, you can search Leanne’s closet as Leanne to use these codes. Press X once, and while her first line is on screen, enter the code. Press X again and she will find the corresponding clothing. Credit to darkladyaris.

(All three characters get these shirts)
Club Famitsu: triangle triangle up up square square left left L1 R1
Gemaga: R2 L2 L1 R1 Triangle Triangle Triangle square square up
8-bit girl: up up down down left right left right triangle square
Hirakou: square triangle L1 L1 R1 R1 L3 L3 up down

(Only Leanne gets this shirt)
Platform Logo: R2 R1 R3 L3 L1 L2 right left square triangle

(Only after getting reindeer suit in Neverland)
Politan Suit: R3 R3 R3 right left triangle square L2 R2 L1*

Haha, too awesome.

BTW, how do I go about getting Rare Scrape Materiel?
I want to buy that big ass scope, but I’m missing that Rare Scrape, anyone got any clues?

Finally got the game, have to get the display copy because it is the last copy in my area…

Just started chapter 1, combat looks promising. Couple questions:
How good is grenade and how they cost effective?
Is it important to keep three characters weapon’s level balance?

Whoa, so much was going on at once in chapter 4’s boss that the game actually froze, had to restart the dungeon but lol.

Those guys are MAJOR assholes. I just said “screw it, I’ll fight 'em later”.

At Chapter 10 (or 11, can’t remember) now. It’s the one where:

RoF storyline

Spoiler

Leanne finds out that Zephyr apparently killed all those dudes in the Seminary. And goes emo about not being able to look at him the same way…only to look at him exactly the same way and decide she doesn’t judge him, just like how Vashyron feels. Now I have to kill that Cardinal asshole with Zephyr alone, that’s gonna be interesting.

Is this game good?

The combat seems like Vagrant Story with guns a little bit.

Is the story good? Spoil me, I don’t care.

Grenades are very good because they do direct damage, and they do a lot of it. They also do splash damage (you can hurt your own guys so be careful). Grenades are a fast way to destroy bunkers if you need to do it.

Leveling up your weapons increases your HP and your weight, so it may be good to mix up your party’s guns once in a while. My guys have “specialties”: Vash is the handgun/grenade expert, Zephyr is my scratch damage specialist, and Leanne is the support/healer. So basically, they’re all using their default setups, though I may give Leanne a SMG when I find another one.

I feel the game is more like VP2 than anything else (I heard the VP2 developers made this game). The combat system borrows some elements from VP2.

I can’t comment on the story; still trying to make sense of it all (I’m on chapter 5). RoF is definitely funny.

my setup I’m just giving all 3 characters dual HG/MG (i only have 2 pairs of HG and 1 pair MG). but at least every 4 levels u get a new skill, and so far i’ve been getting pretty lucky on getting Full Scratch bonuses to knock out mobs quickly.

Currently finished with Chapter 11 story (need to finish the 2 side missions that so far have no direction of telling u where to go)

What exactly does charge acceleration does? I read the manual but still no clue what it is.

When you charge it charges at a set speed, but it also starts charging faster as more time passes. Charge Acceleration makes that acceleration faster =P
