The December tourney will be on hold until I can square things away with the building and the vendor. I have sent the information requested to APEX. I remember asking for membership for Rack-N-Cue two years ago and I didn’t get a single response.
I am sorry to hear about the Bearcade closing, but on the bright side, since we have the same vendor as Bearcade, those games have to be farmed out somewhere…
p.s. I hope you all saw this on the APEX Tourney FAQ:
“We currently only support rankings for Capcom vs SNK 2 and Marvel vs Capcom 2”

Anyone down for cvs2 weekly tomorrow? I’ll actually be there. If we get enough people, I’m sure poolboss could print out some brackets. We can do sign-ups at around 4 pm.
On a side note, has anyone begged the vendor for KOFXI? Because that game looks freaken awesome.
You already do…Eric comes here every now and then & gets some outrageous win streak going on CVS, luckily I’m never there when he does, and he never beats me…
Also the 3S comp should be picking up (not that it’s bad,) once the BEARcaders start coming down to play. And I don’t think any of them use Ken or Chun…

I’d be down for a CvS2 weekly too but without the machine set to event mode, I’d wager it would take too long to run the tourney. What do you guys think?
All these tournies around the area make me happy. Of course, I ain’t going to any of them except the MGL one in December (and any RnC one we may have, plus our local weeklies). Still, its very good.
I got to play Bobby (aka Pimpmaster…) (aka standing 720 and 360) (aka scary) yesterday. It was a very good time. He plays a damn good Alex (along with a damn good everything else).
I’ll be emailing the OCE folks requesting VF4 and KOF11.

I’ve already filled out what APEX has requested. Now it’s up to them. We’ve working on moving the Tournament to the 17th. It’ll be pay to play, but we’re working on getting Tekken at .25 for that. We will be expecting (plain old) Guilty Gear soon for the time being. Don’t be shy about emailing OCEGuy about games you want like KOF11, V4…etc.
