I won’t be able to adjust until I hear from my vendor. This was a day that worked for both of us so that you guys would get freeplay and event mode. Hopefully, We can make an adjustment and still keep the tournament.

I don’t care if we lose free play Poolboss. Its a very nice bonus but pay-to-play isn’t bad at all. Not for a tourney. That’s just my 2 cents on that.

Heh, don’t get spoiled by free play tournaments…they really don’t exist much anymore. Pay to play is tops…except for 7 man round robin…that is teh gay.

Sillie, myself and the other folks that help with the tournaments need to read the above FAQs too. We’ll run the tournaments but you will be the only person who actually enters results into APEX. Its a lot easier if you handle that part instead of having multiple people entering results-- besides, I don’t think APEX will allow multiple people to enter results for an arcade.

And really, your the only person who can sign us up with APEX because your in charge of the Rack and Cue. I’d do it if I could.

For folks who help run tournies at SFSU, most important thing you need to know: When taking sign-ups, you must have the first and last name of each participant clearly and legibly written on your sign up sheet. SRK and APEX need this info and if its not clear or legible, your in big trouble.

Keep spreading the word on our SFSU 3S weeklies guys. Winter is coming but its getting hot in the arcade. :slight_smile:

Pay to play isn’t a big deal (maybe to tekken players since the game is still 50 cents <.<) but I think event mode would be nice. We done fine without it so far but if turn outs get bigger, might be nesscary.

Since our December tournament has been posted, we need to figure out who’s running what and if we’re still doing 3s team tournament.

BTW, we now have Tekken weeklies? Pretty cool (not that I play Tekken.) I also put up a much nicer sign on the 3S machine advertising the 3S weeklies.
