Let’s start our own weeklies. What day? What time? What’s entry money? I say Friday’s, 4-7 p.m., $1 entry fee, for 3S. Winner takes all. Let’s start a week from this Friday? Is this gonna work? Are you guys down?

How much would the winner actually make if it’s $1 fees? Prob not much…
Winner takes all. The point of the $1 entry fee is just to make the tourney ‘serious’ and to encourage casual players to be in the tourney. If we have a weekly tourney with a $3 entry fee a lot casual players will get discouraged because they’ll lose their $3 real quickly. If its a $1, its a real tourney with real stakes (albeit, very small stakes but still, its real).
And the ultimate point behind having weeklies is not the money. Its to have real competition and a large group of players together. And its for the glory and bragging rights too! Maybe we can even start our own player ranking system here at State. 
Poolboss, I’m going to put together a flyer advertising the 3S weekly tourneys starting 11/4/05. From 4-7 p.m. Entry fee is $1. Winner takes all. Pay to play. With a minimum of 8 players to start the tourney.
Sillie, Jeff or myself will handle the logistics and money handling of the weeklies. (Thanks for volunteering to help guys!)

Yeah, that dollar logic is good, it’s like at least something you put in, and it’s a fair amount but not too much so you’ll at least take it a bit seriously. And actually I just care about the experience that I get from them so I can get better, haha.
