CVS2, MVC2, and 3S is a must. I dont really see people play T5, but aye, I could be wrong.
Also, I have a feeling that InitialD would bring in alot of people.
I wish the 3v3 games can go first, cause the earliest I can come is 1:15-1:30.
Initial D did bring in alot of people. But since the last time we did a tournament and the new vendor here, Many have gone the way of Wangan Midnight. Most threads I used to post on for it have died. If anyone knows where they post now, I’ll try to swing some of them to do ID. However, even SC2 postings have fallen off. It seems that SRK is the only constant medium that withstood the test of time.
Therefore, I’m down with games other than what’s posted here (DDR, Initial D) if i could find volunteers and if there is a similar forum site like SRK that everyone posts so the word can get out there.
Basically, my end is supplying the games available and posting where I can. It’ll be up to you guys to choose what games you want and have the people to come. (Especially since we now have the proper equipment for them)

Poolboss, I didn’t know you guys were gonna take out the Ultracade since it was pretty new, do you guys plan on getting that back since I hear you are getting Puzzle Fighter back. Or a ST/A3 cabinet maybe?
It’s totally okay if you’re not, since I’m already happy you got 3S for us. Don’t want to take advantage of the kindness too much.
Please don’t bring back the Ultracade machine back. Its not a true arcade machine. Its a PC with emulation software. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with that except that it has slowdown. I know almost every SF game has slowdown but this game has slowdown emulating the game. The game gets too intense and the machine can’t keep up with the emulation. So, what I’m trying to say is that the ultracade adds extra slowdown that is not part of the actual game. Please don’t bring it back. Bring back a genuine SFA3 machine.
When you bring back Puzzle Fighter can you please change the versus matches to best of 3 instead of just one round.

mvc2: nobody, someone vounteer for this one
3rd strike: can we still count on you, ramberk?
cvs2: I perfer someone to vounteer for this one but if not, I’ll do it half assed with like 3/5 grand finals cause games are too long for my taste.
Sundays are not an option since the building doesn’t open at all.
If you want friday, then you can practically do it anytime up to 9:30 pm.
Oct.8th is a day that I confirmed with our scheduling dept in which the building will be open until at least 8-9pm because another organization is PAYING to keep the building open. (It’s expensive to do that, so don’t ask.)
Ultracade belonged to the previous vendor. How this new guy feels about bringing one in (strictly for A3, I presume) is up to him. If you want, I can ask him for you.
The rounds on Puzzle Fighter will most likely stick to one match, but I will ask about the possibility of adding additional rounds.
So to recap:
Friday=ok
saturday= only oct. 8th & 15th
Sun= not a chance
Ultracade=probably not coming back
puzzle fighter=coming back, but most likely still 1 round.
You can count on me for the 8th and running the 3S tourney. Lets get the times down so we can start announcing this.

You guys better pick quick, The 8th isn’t too far away if you want to do it then, and you know how people complain if they don’t get enough notice for a tourney.

I can probably help out on 3S tournament on Saturdays, if you don’t mind a 16 year old helping out. But that’s only if the 3S tourny starts at around 1:30.
