Saw the ultracade, lots of people playing A2, I was the kid in a grey sweatshirt using a Charlie. Wanted to know if anyone who went today posts here…

The only reason why ppl were playing on Ultracade was because everything else was broken…even 1P side on Ultracade wasn’t even working properly…

I realize that our vendor sucks. I understand the red tape that is involved with making changes. But for crying out loud. This is my fourth year at state, and it’s always the same crap every year. We’ve poured our money into broken cabinets not because we’re stupid, but because those are the games we want to play. I can’t understand why messed up, hole in the wall arcades can have these games (in working condition) and we can’t. It just doesn’t make sense.
I definetely agree with you man, I think that each arcade at least deserves the top 3 fighters in working condition - CvS2, 3S, MvC2 [maybe T5]. Even a bowling alley’s arcade have those games in a few that I go to, and dammit CvS2 was one of my main games and now its gone.

T5 is NOT a “maybe”…even fucking Serra Bowl has it, and it doesn’t have shit for arcade games.
3S is like how old now? 1322112341 years old. How hard is it to get. I bet if we 4 put money in, we can probably get one in working condition.
For fucks sake try can get those 3 games. I checked coin-op express and they do NOT cost more than 400 dollars each. I know we don’t talk with your vendor or work with him, but there isn’t any excuse to not have 3 games which are 40 years old for one arcade.
These are YOUR customers talking here. WE know MORE than you about what WE WANT. Who the FUCK puts money into your machines? WE DO. Do you pump in quarters or anything into the mahcines?
I honestly thought it was cool of you to actually go to UCB, SJSU and other arcades and record footage of what they actually do for tournies and their status of the arcades in YOUR OWN TIME, I thought that was showing how devoted you were to making the SFSU arcade better.
I don’t even know if you read these boards often, or just avoiding it to run away from the damn truth because lots of customers on here are giving you a piece of their mind…
And no, the old games we wanted wasn’t the damn Ultracade machine games.
EDIT - I forgot to mention if you can even make a call to the vendor to FIX the buttons on the games…more than 3 games are fucked up already, and you keep saying he’s gonna fix it today, no tomorrow, no next weeek, no mid-next week.

He has been there already for tournies, even recorded the place/matches at the tourney.

I think many of us voiced on the forums about Tekken 5, Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, and CvS2. Can we get a definite answer when we are getting those games or if we’re getting them at all? All this waiting for a game that hasn’t come yet can be fusrating so I’m asking don’t leave us in the dark about this. Personally, I think you can get rid Street Fighter Collection cabinet and a few others that probably won’t be played much later.
Eh, I don’t think the Ultracade needs to leave, I think it does its job on entertaining and ST & A3’s in it, I wouldn’t mind playing it after every few games of something else.
Poolboss we are the customers talking here, and all we want are the top games, or shall I just say basic common games in arcades? Having 3S, T5 and CvS2 in working order and I’ll be sure there will be tons more of people coming to play it. I use to come a couple of times a week since CvS2 is there, but if 3S is there, I’ll be there possibly everyday. And now you got rid of CvS2, god damn, I barely come anymore.
Please consider the top fighters, I wouldn’t mind if you didn’t get them all in at the same time [which I think would not happen anyway] either.
