Look the system is like two months old and just came out in the West. People are trying to sort the new system out and they have the right to get frustrated. I was playing my PSP games from my JP account, while I waited for Vita games that were worth a damn. Now that I switched over to my main/US account I get a ton of errors on my JP PSP games, saying that Iām not the owner of my games. Yeah.
I donāt see any 3DS or āconsole warā trolls in this thread right now, just honest Vita owners who are trying to make some sense of what they paid for.

It aināt just here. There are a lot of people complaining about shit they knew before hand, like memory cards. Then you have people complaining about #s, 30FPS vs 60FPS acting like 30 is broken. Ninja Gaiden which I didnāt buy most that bought it seem to love it, few other talk about the FPS being too low. I have Wipeout 2048, and it plays just fine in 30FPS. I think track knowledge is the only thing holding me back, not the extra 30FPS.
Vita should be compared to portable gaming systems, not home consoles. If it matches them, great, if not more than likely some concessions had to be made.

The timing needed to input barrel rolls (2048ās barrel rolls originated in WHD) and shifting really does matter in the top speed classes. In Wipeout HD there was a specific input window for barrel rolls when your craft gets high enough off the ground. At 30 fps, the timing is different in 2048, and by extension, WHD Cross-play. DMC fans are complaining about the Ninja Theory game for similar reasons. FG fans would act the same way if it was announced that Virtua Fighter 6, Tekken 7 etc would be 30 fps.
But thatās not the problem. I just donāt like when people who arenāt really fans of the series think they have a right to judge the game and its fanbase. Itās no different than someone making scrub comments about FGC tournaments.
If any concessions were to be made, it should have been in the graphics to ensure 60 fps. Like how UMvC toned down the visuals a bit to protect the framerate. But I still play 2048. The hell with it, thereās nothing else on the system.
