The 3G bundle for Vita just got sweetened
Uhhg itās been so long since Iād been in to hacking my PSP that Iāve pretty much forgotten how it all works and what the heck I did in the first place. I just picked up Half Minute Hero and I can not get it to work at all! I usually copy the ISOs of my UMDs so I donāt have to cary them with me but I canāt even play this game from the original UMD. When I start it up the screen goes black then my whole system turns off. It makes no sense. Can anyone point me in a direction to fix this?
I seen that. With all the issues and delays of my import Vita, it would have been wiser to wait for U.S. release.
Having it 2 weeks early, is not worth the extra $200 I payed now just to get the unlocked 3G version, that I donāt plan on using.
Are the memory cards for PSV only purchasable from Sony or can you get em from a 3rd party?
Yall are getting me slightly hype for the PSV, but Iām waiting until these things are released with design flaws taken out, and longer battery lifeā¦
I could be waiting until next yearā¦
Cards are Sony only for now,but you do not need to buy the 32GB version. I think 8GB even though it is not real big, is enough to hold a few downloaded games. Iām probably going with the 16GB plus the 4GB thatās coming with my system.
Whatās your firmware?
2nd gen portable hardware is usually scores better. DSL > DS. PSP 2nd gen > PSP 1st gen
You also risk losing features as components are dropped in favor of cheaper manufacturing. But itās really safe to assume that a Vita update will have video-out. Battery life should also improve (though it isnāt bad now) once they start shrinking the chip processes.
I managed to get it figured out.I did update my firmware to 6.60Pro but the main issue seems to just be a matter of what memory card I put the image on. Some of them worked some didnāt.
Not only that, you waste time not enjoying stuff by waiting. You know the guys that waited for PSone to go down in price to buy it, then finally buy it when PS2 came out.
I had a friend like that, he was always on the previous system.
I bought PSP 1000 at launch and loved the hell out of it for awhile, then I traded it for a tattoo. Bought PSP 2000 Crisis Core LE, which is better than the 1000 because it is way lighter and thinner due to the smaller battery. The video out feature was cool too.
That shit was way after launch though. I wouldnāt wait 3 years for Vita for any type of upgrade, I would just buy the new upgrade.
My Vita is cleared through customs, so it will be delivered tomorrow by Fedex.
Dear Vita, why are you not in my hands yet so I can be playing dat Uncharted Golded Abyss?
Got my Vita this morning, signed for it and opened the Play-Asia box and went back to sleep.
I brought it to work with me tonight and will play Uncharted on my breaks.
I failed hard putting the screen protector on it. It came with one and you line up the buttons in the overlay and then pull the film. I didnāt know exactly how it worked until it was too late. It has about a 15 degree slant, and top left of the screen is not covered because that part is slanted down.
Failed hard!
It definitely is a nice piece of technology, but Iām not blown away by it like others.
When I got the PSP I was blown away, this one is just PSP on steroids. I already have a Galaxy S 2 phone with Super Amoled Plus screen, so the appearance is something Iām used too. I was blown away by the Galaxy S and then the Galaxy S 2ās screens, but am used to them now. I only have Uncharted and NA PSN is not recognizing the Vita to download any demos or anything. I will put the few PSP downloaded games on it as well.
I already donāt like the forced touch they make you do. In the Uncharted options, instead of moving with D-Pad, you have to touch and swipe.
Lame
is there any incentive to buy the 3g vers? it sounds like garbage
imma cop that wifi version + 140 psn dollars and go ham on the psn titles i missed out onā¦
all thanks to this balla ass tax refund
Canāt afford it, Vita is $450 down here in Chile
Iām going to Vegas with my refund.
There is hardly any incentive at all to buy the 3G version.
I only did it just because I want the best one. I wouldnāt recommend it because it has no use in gameplay.
Now the first day 3G bundle is a good value now that they changed it up.
$300-8GB memory Card, 250MB data connect 30 day plan, 1 free PSN game TBD.
The wifi version for $50 less you do not get any of that stuff, and you need a memory card just to play some games.
Much better than the $350 first edition bundle-Little Deviants, 4GB memory card, 250MB data connect 30 day plan, 1 free PSN game TBD, & a limited edition PS Vita Case.
I need to get me a 16GB card so I can throw all my PS minis, Iāve been collecting for being a PS+ member.
dayday where do you see this 300 dollar 3g bundle?
evo? yeah i got vita and the plane ticket with my tax refund
