recently found out there was a digital camera/webcam attachment for the PSP called Chotto Shot. Shoots 1.3mp (1280x960) supposedly takes high quality pics and it’s only 50 bucks!!! I don’t know how this thing ever flew right over my head. May not be the highest quality camera, but this adds a hell of a lot more value than anything else out there.
Maybe the 3000 should have had the camera built-in.
Crazy Taxi and Wipeout Pulse are two games I know that let you upload your own tracks to listen to during gameplay. That’s the best I can do for you.
the game itself is pretty standard… fun but nothing spectacular.
what makes it cool is the way you have to play it. You gotta hold the PSP sideways to situate a tate screen ratio…
so your left hand would be on the bottom of the PSP controlling the dpad while your right hand would be atop on the buttons shooting bullets and shyt.
it sounds weird but it actually works and doesnt feel that awkward.
other than that if you enjoy star soldier or shmups in general then the game is a good time.

Wipeout Pure+333MHz assist+DLC packs is the best gotdamn racer on PSP, f what ya herd. And it’ll whup your ass till you cry if you never tried Wipeout before.
Having tried Tate shooters like Varth and 19XX on PSP, I’m used to playing it sideways. I think I’ll give Star Soldier a shot.
Crazy Taxi = time-wasting arcade token-grabber. “OH! time up. put in more money while you wait for your ride to come pick you up!” If it’s a racing game that can kick you off not just because of unsatisfactory performance, but also because time ran out, it’s a token-grabber, cuz time runs out more often than anything. (See Daytone USA/Cruisin’ series/other arcade-to-console driving games)
As for Wipeout…last I heard, hardcore racing fans play stuff the simulates the real thing, much like EA sports try to make sports games as real as possible. Wipeout is to racing what Midway’s super-powered sports games are to the sports games genre.
When that ad-hoc ps3 shit goes live, who gonna get whooped on some powerstone collection?

whoah whoah custom music in Crazy Taxi?! That just moved up in priority on my list of “need to get” games, then. I played the hell out of that game on Dreamcast…and I could definitely still have fun with that. In fact, that fixes one of the annoyances I had with the original----those “Bad Religion” or whatever group that was…those songs got stale rather quickly, since it was just a couple of songs looped over and over forever as you played the game. Custom music option significantly improves the Crazy Taxi fun factor for me…I might need to get this tomorrow then…I still see it at stores for only 20 bucks new.
I also liked WipeOut back in the psx days…XL was the last racing game I enjoyed before giving up on that entire genre…so I might get that too.
After all this time…I’m STILL not tired of my precious, arcade perfect portable Aliens vs. Predator. I love it so much. 
Try using the japanese code of the game instead of the american one when converting it to play it on your PSP.
About Crazy Taxi, there’s a version on the net which has the original music instead of those weird new songs.
is there a way to transfer save data from playing PSX games on my PS3 to my PSP? So that way I can keep the same file on the go or when I’m at home?
Dunno about from a PS3, but I know if you can get it off a PSX or PS2 memcard you can get saves onto your PSP using CWcheat.
and there’s a way to get from ps3 to ps2 mem cards I think…maybe for PSX too, then from there to PSP is possible…

B-Boy was also released today… the game’s been out in europe for like 2 years and now hits the states… and the game supposedly sucks too lol.
