I knew it was a bad idea from the start. Elton Brand was no longer “Elton Brand”. On top of that he didn’t even fit the Sixers’ style of play. We had success running the floor and playing pesky defense - where does Elton Brand fit in with that? I wanted them to get Josh Smith with that money.
I’m just waiting for the day they put World Peace’s jersey for sale.
Fantasy Yahoo questions:
what are these three game types?
[]Points Only
[]Head-to-Head - Points

Head-to-Head - One Win
If someone could explain please.
Man, lots of updates to yahoo fantasy, draft pick trades, playoff reseeding etc…
Now if they can just get their mobile app together, SHEESH
I don’t play on Yahoo but that list looks pretty damn self explanatory. I’m going to assume points is overall points.
Head to head points should be head to head match up but only counting points or head to head multiple categories but you get the total points you get. For example if you win 6-4 your record is 6-4. It has to be one of those two. And head to head one win I’m going to assume is head to head with multiple categories. Since it says one win, I’m going to assume it scores it football wise. For example 6-4 win = 1-0, rather than 6-4.
okay good thats what i assumed
but the points only boggles my mind, would people really play fantasy sports for just that one category?
I think VS said something along the lines of “NOTHING MATTER BUT POINTS POINTS POINTS.”
Or some shit like that. Maybe Fun League people can remind me…
Let’s go Celtics !!! and Come on Craptors, make the playoffs damnit …
Seing as Dallas are defending champs, reminded me of this guy rapping bout Dirk …
Spoiler

Well the year before last my entire team was based on scoring as many points as possible.
Last year my team was based on scoring no points.
I WONDER WHAT MY STRAT WILL BE THIS YEAR.
You guys do fantasy leagues? If so, I want in.
So is that why you traded Kevin Durant? Because that was my excuse when I traded you Durant. I was hoping you get so happy and just go after points.

Z-bo in shape during the lockout??? Say it ain’t so.
Mike Conely still the best player on the Grizz.
Yes you read that correctly. The general leading the troops to a NBA title. #Word is bond
Why are LeBron and Wade at this Ohio St. game? I figured playing for a Florida team they’d rather be at a Gators game. See the kind of program that produced a player that was on the 1-seed team last year.
Nuggets are not making the playoffs. Their team is screwed.
J.R. Smith and K-Mart are playing in China, with non opt-out contracts. Meaning they’re stuck there, unless they somehow force buyouts. And Nene is a FA looking for more money elsewhere.
If Denver goes into the season without both their starting bigs and their best SG, it’s a wrap.
oooh interesting development here!
Will the Celtics be cap-strapped?
"* Expect the league to allow teams to begin negotiating with free agents somewhere between Dec. 1-4. David Stern has said publicly that the goal is to allow teams to begin signing free agents on Dec. 9, which is also the target for the beginning of training camps. With games scheduled to start on Dec. 25, that means teams will do most of their work in the first week of free agency.
-
Teams pay $1 for every $1 their salary is above the luxury-tax threshold in 2011-12 and 2012-13. Starting in 2012-13, teams pay an incremental tax that increases with every $5 million above the tax threshold ($1.50, $1.75, $2.50, $3.25, etc.). Teams that are repeat offenders (paying tax at least four out of the past five seasons) have a tax that is higher still – $1 more at each increment ($2.50, $2.75, $3.50, $4.25, etc.).
-
Taxpaying teams have a smaller midlevel exception, can acquire less salary in trade, and cannot use the biannual exception. Starting in 2013-14, teams more than $4 million above the tax level cannot receive a player in a sign-and-trade transaction.
-
For the first two years of the 10-year agreement – with either side possessing the option to exit the CBA after six seasons – tax-paying teams still will be eligible to do sign-and-trade deals. That opens the door for impending star free agents such as Chris Paul, Dwight Howard and Deron Williams to be moved to big-market teams such as the Lakers, Knicks and Mavericks that are already over the salary cap.
In the final eight years of the agreement, teams can still make sign-and-trade deals as long as the math does not put them more than $4 million into the luxury tax.
- One player can be waived prior to the start of any season (only one player can be amnestied during the agreement, and contracts signed under the new CBA are not eligible). The salary of the waived player will not count toward the salary cap or luxury tax. Teams with cap room can submit competing offers to acquire an amnestied player (at a reduced rate) before he hits free agency and can sign with any team."
^holy crap…

“While Boston is not shopping Rajon Rondo, it would be open to trading him in the right deal, sources say. The Celtics feel they need more scoring to take the load off Paul Pierce.”
AWW HELL NAW!!! DON’T FAWKING DO IT, AINGE! YOU’VE DONE ENUFF!!!
lol, yeah, trade Rondo, trade him to the WC. Jrue going to the top!
I can’t take them seriously without Rondo. He makes it work.
“Ainge is trying to swing a deal for CP3”.
Shit sounds as dumb as the Dwight to L.A. rumors.

I would love it just so CP3 could troll Rondo, about that ring comment he made a couple of years ago.
Oh really?
My goodness I can’t wait for this stupid retarded ass 62 games in 120 nights or whatever season to start!
