then he left early…
Who didn’t see this coming
yo you guys STOLE JORDAN CRAWFIRD from the HAWKS! Give me crawford for Joe johnson straight up. We had him on the bench and we traded him to the wizards and he average 25ppg in a wizards uniform. The Hawks will forever be in the 4-6 range team in the east. Average team at the best.
Warriors waive Jeremy Lin and are preparing an offer for DeAndre Jordan. Come onnnnnnnnn.
Profound sadness =(
Brandon Bass to the celtics for Glen Davis. I really love this, cant stand big baby and I’ve liked Bass since his days in Dallas. Stan Van Gundy should have played him a ton more in his time in Orlando.
Yea definitely not liking that trade, I’m hearing that it was to persuade Dwight to stay, but I don’t see that working

It is pretty clear that the NBA is rigged in favor of big market teams and superstar players. In that case, the NBA should just contract teams, maybe down from 30 to 16. There aren’t enough superstars for every team in the league, and unless you have a team of multiple (3 or more) all-stars like the Pistons of the mid-00s and the recent Celtics, you aren’t going to come close to contending for a title. This won’t be done, though, as many people will be losing jobs, and other negative impact that this has. Stern would rather go down swinging than see contraction. Contraction in his eyes means failure.
By my count, there are 10 superstars (Kobe, Durant, Paul, Dirk, Howard, Wade, LeBron, Rose, Anthony, Deron) and a few more that are borderline. I’m not sure what the count was in terms of number of superstars in the previous years, but it was probably about the same, more or less.

Source: Celtics, All-Star West near deal
"A source briefed on discussions Friday evening said that the Boston Celtics are close to a deal with free agent power forward David West, who has been with the New Orleans Hornets since being drafted in 2003.
West, 31, was expected to be one of the top free agents in this year’s class, but he is coming off of a torn ACL suffered late last season in a game against Utah. West has diligently rehabbed his injury in North Carolina last summer, but teams have been slow to make significant offers to him."
West to Celtics?
Carter to Mavericks?
Aldrige having heart complications now?!
WTF NBA.
Aldridge has always had that rare heart condition, it acted up on him mid 2007 if I remember correctly. Back when him, b.roy, and oden where touted as the nWo.
yup i believe you are correct, too bad it came back on him. whats up in oregon
I really think it’s the rain and shitty weather. Northwest is one of the top areas when it comes to surgeries/medical related activities. I personally think that because we get so much god damn practice up here. People here get all type of random shit.
You don’t believe just walk around Seattle and ask people do they do about X disease. Chances they do and someone in their family works in a hospital.
Nobody who cares about the NBA should even give a fuck about any of that, but yes, Lakers’ front line is world-class (on paper), and they’re jeopardizing their championship hopes for the forseeable future. Fuck the NBA though.
West deal didn’t happen, and they resigned Green to a one year deal.
As for Carter to the Mavs who cares he’s a perennial choke artist, even more so than his cousin or Lebron could ever be.
Ric Bucher just reported the new deal for paul will have to have Pau(possibly Lamar too) go directly to Hornets, the league wants to see star power star be traded for star power.

The Hornets aren’t gonna get much better considering Paul is going to leave anyway. It’s like the NBA doesn’t want an owner to take the Hornets off of their hands. At this point they should see what Bob Villa is up to as he’s the only person who’ll take on a renovation project of that magnitude.
In a perfect world Seattle would build a new stadium, take the Hornets and call them the Supersonics…
Seems by Stern’s comments about keeping Paul in a Hornets jersy, he’d prefer a star player stay in the small market he plays for.
By this logic I fully expect him to void the trades of KG to Boston and Melo to NY.
see that’s the thing though–Chris Paul does not want to go to a smaller market, no matter how much the NBA tries to force him there. The NBA cannot allow Chris Paul to walk without getting some sort of talent in return, the rebuilding process from that would be astronomical.
The NBA has made it clear that they want youth, picks, and cap relief for this mega trade. Pau and Lamar are good pieces but are hardly getting any younger and still have bulky contracts to work with. One scenario I heard about is maybe involving David West in a sign and trade along with Paul, and possibly including some other teams to balance things (picks) so the NBA won’t veto.
D12, Pau, CP3, West, Carter…all this talk is nonsense.
It’s all about the Jeremy Lin sweepstakes.
