The NBA’s logic is flawed, you essentially cut the Rockets out of the deal if you force the Lakers to give up both Pau and Lamar to the Hornets.
Stern just needs to come out and admit it at this point that he was pressured by some of the owners to make sure the Lakers didn’t get the piece or pieces that they wanted.
At this point the deal won’t go thru just because the Rockets have no reason to be involved unless Stern wants us to send Bynum to the Rockets, which won’t happen on the Laker end because they won’t have a frontline at all or a decent trade chip for D12 either.
I’m not even a Rockets fan and I hate the fact that they are getting screwed over this bad, not just because they might be losing out on Gasol but they lose out on the plans that they wanted to achieve by trying to sign Nene with Gasol.
Thanks Stern for putting atleast six teams plans in limbo Nets,Magic,Rockets,Hornets,Lakers, and Celtics.
The funny thing is one of the owners that bitched about the trade just figured out away to get a $12 mil TPE, to use for a D12,CP3 or Deron trade of his own.
No he did not pour out his heart and soul. How many times did he simply not show up and only played when people began to call him out on it? He is upset that he wont be in hollywood anymore and cant continue his usual bs.
The Blazer’s situation was just big risks that did not pan out unfortunately. B.Roy’s knee problems have been known since before he was drafted, Portland knew the danger. Aldridge’s heart problem was discovered late 2007(looked it up and it was a couple of weeks before the 07 playoffs), and they kept him knowing it would always be a problem(like .2% of the general public get diagnosed with this ailment, super rare). Now Oden is just a tragedy, dude was beast in college and for whatever reasons his knees failed him.
The nWo that would’ve happened, but never was.
FREE AGENCY SHIT:
“Celtics, Hornets still working to finalize David West sign and trade deal, league sources say. Three year, $27M-29M deal in the works”
“Aaron Gray has agreed to a one-year deal with Toronto Raptors, league source tells Y! Sports.”
Was thinking about trying out fantasy basketball this year I have done it before but the format was kinda screwy. If you guys have any more spots I would be down if not its fine. Also not sure how I am not on the Mavs list
I use Comcast for tv and internet (I think they throw in a phone line too, but who the hell still use that?). Total is like $110ish a month, but that’s because I have HBO and all those premium channels too. I thought NBA/NFL/MLB networks came with most cable now a days.
