All these “superstar” trades is getting tiresome. I hope none of these teams that get there own “Big 3” gets a championship. This season is gonna be dull but whatever we’ll see how it goes.
Chris Paul isn’t a good shooter. That’s a fact. Baron Davis has always been a threat from the perimeter. The only Paul has on Davis is being a better passer. He’s not a better on the ball defender. He’s not a better scorer.
And yes, clogging up the paint is bad when you have David West down there - a legit low post scoring threat.
If this is true, I will take back every bad thing I’ve said about the Rockets.
These are all things that normal people know from watching games…but there are also numbers to objectively back them up.
I really think that you have never watched an NBA basketball game in your entire life, this is insane.
Baron Davis has NEVER been a threat from the perimeter. He is lifetime 32.1% from three, that is fucking terrible, made even more horrible by the fact he attempts like 5 a game. Every knows this.
Here’s him from that magical 2007 season.

.391 eFG% on jumpers - that is terrible. Considering that eFG% gets buffed up from threes, it’s even worse than it looks.
Chris Paul shot 38.8% from three last year. Year before, 40.9% - had he played in enough games he would have been 16th in the league, above guys like JJ Redick, Aaron Brooks, Jose Calderon.

Chris Paul, .483 eFG% on jumpers last year.
Chris Paul…
NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2008)
NBA All-Defensive First Team (2009)
NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2011)
Baron Davis…
…
Chris Paul’s averaged 18.7 points on 47.1% shooting career, compared to Baron’s 16.5 points on 41% shooting career, saying Baron’s a better scorer is just a straight up lie. Baron needs more shots to score less points, come on.
Baron’s magic year - 20.1 points, 43.9% shooting
Paul’s 08-09 - 22.8 points, 50.3% shooting - what other point guards make more than half their shots?
David West is also not a low post scoring threat. He plays mid-post, by the elbow, he’s a primary jump shooting big man, like Chris Bosh.
Most of New Orlean’s points come from the pick and roll with West and Paul…which you need two good jump shooting players to do.

David West’s field goals - 74% jumpers, 26% inside
Chris Bosh - 71% jumpers, 29% inside
Zach Randolph - 56% jumpers, 44% inside
Dwight Howard - 32% jumpers, 68% inside
This is like when Cool Breeze said the Lakers don’t run triangle, it’s just so insanely wrong that I don’t know where you would even get that information in the first place. Like have you ever talked to other people about the NBA before? Don’t you just get this information through osmosis?
Alright, I think we’re done.
thats why we’re trying to get the right pieces now.
anyway, it looks like chandler to nyk. supposedly the knicks are floating with the idea of letting amare go in order to get cp3 now, which i don’t like AT ALL. that would be fucked up. in order to get tyson it looks like we’ll get rid of turiaf and chauncey.
i’m open with the latter and waiting til the off season to get cp3.
Tyson going to NY?
Small market teams are not getting any love.
mavs must retain chandler but he will get overpaid and walk.
I heard the lakers are entertaining some deal for delonte west.
Shane Battier to the Heat is pretty damn good for them. Mavs gotta do something quick to get Chandler from going to the knicks or else they’ll be in trouble, especially if Caron Butler is gonna be going to the clips. This week has been pretty crazy with the baseball winter meetings and all the nba free agency talks. Feels so good to turn on NBATV and not have to see Bull vs Jazz for the millionth time.
Mike Conley is the best PG in the NBA that why he is only worth $8 in ESPN Auction Draft. Unlike those scrubs CP3 and Rose who are worth $68, and $57. #Kappa
it’s completely negated by Eddy Curry…:
Sources: Curry to Heat »
"Curry has only played 10 games over the last three years, as he’s battled various injuries and weight issues. He did not play in the league last season, though he was traded from the New York Knicks to the Minnesota Timberwolves as part of the Carmelo Anthony deal."
lmao eddy curry
Eddy Curry is going to Miami. Problem solved.
And LOL at the guy thinking B Diddy is better than CP3.
B diddy is not better than CP3, sorry CTG. Not even close. Deron is the only PG on Chris’ level.
On the plus side though, your clips just signed Caron Butler.
Caron Butler goes to Clippers - ESPN
yay?
I get my information from watching the games. I’ve watched Baron since he was a rookie cooking the Sixers everytime they played. However, your stats prove me wrong. Good show.
I DO retain my opinion that CP isn’t the best PG in league and stand by the other PGs I said I’d take over him (Rose, Williams, Rondo w/ Curry and Wall eventually surpassing him).
Trolling aside when Chris Paul is healthy no PG in the league is on his level. Rose, Williams and the rest of the bunch seems better than him as of late is because he’s been hurt.
Except for… well you already know. MIKE CONLEY. #Kappa
Pssh. Chris Paul the best pg in the league? When did this happen?
This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN singing while the beat of Black and Yellow plays in the background:
You know who it is!!!
DERON WILLIAMS!
DERON WILLIAMS!
DERON WILLIAMS!
DERON WILLIAMS!
Don’t you live in Utah?
C’mon I’m the most non bias fan you guys have!
I live in a city with NO NBA team. Plus I have NBA league pass and watch most of the games!
Dunno what’s more insane, CTG saying Baron > CP3 or Clint spending time gathering evidence to refute something so asinine.
Season needs to start.
