Sonic Rainboom was pretty damn entertaining, but my girlfriend is judging me now. There are dangerous rocks up ahead, and I’m not sure I can continue down this path.

Well I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong. MLP is actually not a bad show especially when they moved away from that god awful cotton candy diabetes factory, also known as the first two episodes.
I still think it could be a little edgier and sometimes they push it right to the brink and quickly reign it back in at the last second because it’s still technically a little kid’s show.
They could definitely do some interesting things with that Pink pony because in my experience the happier someone acts the more shit they got locked away in the closet.
As for the tier system, it seems like the ponies are the work horses (shitty pun, fuck off) of the show and maybe I’m just and embittered old man beaten down by life, but I just can’t imagine the three classes living together in harmony. You know there would be some hierarchy struggles going on especially between the unicorns and the pegasus and the ponies would be shit on by both.
I don’t know about unicorns being useless, the purple pony (no, I haven’t bothered remembering their names) seems to have some pretty strong psycho power abilities. She pretty much cleared that entire apple orchard in a couple seconds using them funky powers. That magic ability is no joke either. I don’t know if this is standard for all unicorns or if she’s the Chuck Norris of her kind.
What is up with that queen pony bitch? She’s got wings and a horn? Is she some unholy genetic abnormality? Also, why is she so damn big?

Unicorns are only born with the ability to control specific abilities.
There magic only has that one 1 task it can do, and can only use there magic to do that one thing. So basically they find out what purpose there magic has, and use it to there advantage.
IE, if the unicorn’s ability is to move leaves, then they can only move leaves. Sucks, but that’s there fate.
The purple pony’s (Twilight) ability in magic is… magic.
Basically she has the ability to use magic in several different ways. Really, she’s the only character with “true” magic.
She’s actually the Jean of the series as she does have a “Dark Phoenix” side of her that can awake and destroy everything. However, the huge ass white pony (Princess Celestia) help her learn to control her powers.
Whether or not these powers will turn against the cast in the future, we’ll never known since Lauren Faust left the project and claims anything in season 3 or higher isn’t cannon.
Yes, she goes crazy… and it isn’t the first or last time it happens.
The other characters go through a related phase. Some being worse than others in attempts to learn a lesson at the end of an episode, which in reality, no one learned shit!

Alright, I’m halfway done withthe first season. This show is addictive, gonna stop watching it for a bit considering I have a paper due tomorrow and I haven’t even started. Let’s hope I don’t reference it in my essay

The “Brony” movement is one of the most culturally significant and progressive movements of our time. Its fandom sheds the societal brainwashing that men have to like masculine things, that liking “girly” or feminine things is something to be ashamed of because femininity is shameful. It is direct proof that feminism is actually changing our culture for the better - what matters is that the show is good and makes us laugh, not that it’s “for girls”.

I thought only the Brony aspect of it was creepy, there’s genuinely nothing wrong with the actual show
